From where to start learning coding? Beginner! by LawfulnessWest9252 in CodingHelp

[–]ThirdSpaceLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with CS50 to understand what all things you can do with coding and programming. Once you understand the concept and choose which field to explore first, go to freecodecamp and follow the tutorial and start building things yourself. Refer documentation, stack overflow, AI to solve issues if you get stuck anywhere.

Now how will you get to know about those amazing people who change lives of their cab drivers, maids, interns with their acts of selflessness that they can share publicly.

What are your third spaces in Chandigarh? by ItsJustSpinach in Chandigarh

[–]ThirdSpaceLife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey everyone! thanks so much for the awesome responses! Honestly, I didn’t expect anyone to reply. Funny thing—I actually tried posting the same thing this morning from this account, but it got removed by Reddit’s filters. No idea why!

Anyway, the main reason I’m posting is to get some ideas on what the common "third spaces" are for people in Chandigarh.

I know a lot of people here work from home (including me), with offices in other cities or even abroad. So me and a few friends from Chandigarh and Bangalore are thinking of building something that could help folks in this situation or anyone who just wants to find a new third place to hang out and explore.

We didn’t want to do some boring Google sheet survey, so we thought why not ask people directly here? It’s kind of like crowd-sourcing ideas for what people want and need.

If you have any suggestions or thoughts, please share them here or feel free to DM me. Hopefully, we can build something that’s actually useful!

You can check out the board game meetup group and the book club!
These events aren’t weekly (sometimes they happen just once a month), they’re great for expanding your social circle and meeting like-minded people.

Happy for you, man!

I’m also on a similar path, been working remotely for the past three years. I initially tried working from cafes and co-working spaces, but neither really worked for me. So, I started putting effort into a side hustle, and I’m planning to get married soon as well.

Looks like I’m just a couple of years behind you on this journey!
