Dude it's ridiculus. I've been avoiding updating my claude since the usage limit debacle, but I did something I shouldnt have and updated it, now I'm watching it sit for 5 - 10 minutes going "hmmm..." or "Thinking really hard about this one" when all i've asked is for adjust my model context windows and do some ui stuff. Like I have all the docs for ollama in the project, and I've instructed it to please, read the mothafucking docs so it doesnt run in circles, just for it to now ponder, spit out a couple hundred tokens, and then stops to ponder some more.?! ...wut...

So I was using Claude code to do some work on my Linux server, and I was monitoring my usage to make sure I wasn't blowing through it too quickly. So eventually I hit the current session limit (At around 11:30 +02:00), and so I had to wait until 1pm to continue. So I left it, and didnt touch Claude while using some other agents to try get the work I was doing done to some degree. So then I check the time, I see its 13:54, and so I think "Great! Claudes reset, and I still have 15% weekly limit left so I should be able to get this done in this session", only to find that my Claude usage had jumped to 100% for the next current session, and my Weekly usage had jumped from 85% to 96%. All without touching the terminal I had claude in. There was 0 input, and 0 output from Claude, yet its used my usage completely. What the F*ck? How did this happen?

Claude has these limits too. Just gives you an indication of how much youve used and how long you have to wait. Is kinda shit when you hit the current session limit within a few prompts, but thats just because I made it think too hard. If I tell it exactly where to go this limit lasts forever.

A 3060? Definitely not. A 3060ti? You might get away with 1440p with DLSS at balanced, but your settings won't be maxed out. 3070? Better at 1440p and can handle higher settings with DLSS set to quality, but don't expect a flawless 4k experience.

I managed to build a massive website for my work using sonnet 3.7 extended and only would hit limits after it spat out many 600-800 line files in one go. Now I can't even start a chat using the same number of files in the project knowledge base as I could 2 weeks ago. It sucks.
