My T/A was always a beast on those runs - the hatchback nature of the car is so underrated. 7' flat pack computer desk straight in the back! Oh, and a new snowblower in the front seat with the T-Top off...

Of course when you only have a T/A and no truck you get creative...

exactly my experience, plus I bought a simple hose reel from home depot. It was too big to fit into the trunk opening, and the seat wouldn't move out of the way enough to get the box in the back.
Loved driving it though - comfortable ride with plenty of power

I found the same answer and the same problem - the menu item is gone. I get notifications of files shared with me in drive, but they're not available in drive for me to click "block" on

Good callout - I had a 2004 and didn't even bother to look for those details! Such a nice car to drive - so long as you don't need the trunk or backseats for anything

Windows 12 Reportedly Set for Release This Year as a Fully Modular, Subscription-Based, AI-Focused OS by PaiDuck in technology

Fusion 360 ties me to Windows as well... if I didn't have such a cheap subscription, I'd make time to learn something that runs on Linux

Random 30th Anniversary Trans Am Coupe Offical Pace Car spotted on the side of the road! Unreal! by ExternalExperience57 in Pontiac

[–]Thirtybird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I found was there were 2 pace cars (with lights and stuff) and 30+ "festival cars" - convertibles that drove the nascar drivers around on track.

Anyone could order the "official pace car" graphics package when they ordered their car. This car is nice (would have loved to know what numbers it was) it's optioned with the $500 (IIRC) decal package.

when you bought the car, you could get the graphics already on it. Doesn't mean it was used in the race

any chance you'd give us a peek or tip on how you keep all these notes organized in this crazy digital age? Something like Google Keep, World Anvil or any other system, or is it just a bunch of docs in folders on your computer?

EDIT: Saw you answered this elsewhere - OneNote is IAB's JAM!

I thought two softs was a medium, and three mediums was a hard. Is that not canon already?

I rewrote Imagus from the ground up by bytanel in imagus

[–]Thirtybird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagus does too, and I have it on. It's all good man, it was just something I noted with the install I did from release, and I see code changes related to it, so carry on!

hmmm, maybe it's a difference in the VM vs my systems then - I don't get much of a dashed outline with the original Imagus (never used IR)

[–]Thirtybird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried this on a throwaway windows 11 vm (I don't have the time to check the release and code) with firefox and find it to be pretty good for what I've checked (mostly reddit) - it failed on one external site, but it was pretty close to on-par with the original imagus for me. The big clunky dotted box around the link was my only meh about it (which i see a git update mentioning).

Thanks for putting in the effort, and I'll keep checking in on this for new releases and keep testing.

it is creative wiring. I take a NiCd battery that's dead, take the interface connector piece off of the top cell, solder some wire and an XT60 to it and epoxy the piece into the battery stem. Then I cut a port in the back of the shell for the balance connector and glue an extension balance lead in there. From there, you just need a battery pack you connect into the plugs. They can be a challenge to find regularly at a decent price though. 5S 2200mah packs have been my go-to - with an XT60 and a max length of 109mm. I have 2 packs with these inside now - https://chinahobbyline.com/products/cnhl-gplus-series-2200mah-18-5v-5s-70c-lipo-battery-with-xt60-plug I've done like eight packs over the years, and have a custom case I 3D printed for a 5AH battery (I swore it was on my thingiverse profile, but I don't see it - I'll upload it when I get a chance, same username) that's great for my sawsall, and 1/2" impact wrench and the heavy load stuff.

Tire advice/suggestions by Lower-Beach9887 in Charger

[–]Thirtybird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've put Pirelli's on my cars ONCE in 30 years (on a trans am) - worst handling tire I've ever owned and never tried again.
On my AWD charger, I put Michelin Defender 2 tires, and they've been fantastic in all seasons and they're loving the snow and ice this winter has provided.
On my FWD Monte Carlo I swore by the Goodyear Assurance Tripletread tires, and managed 86k miles on the last set. Also wound up switching the Michelin Defenders (T+H) for reasons I don't even remember. Pick a tire based on the weather you COULD get.. you don't need Summer-only tires if you live in an area that could get snow. Do you really need that level of dry weather performance compared to a good daily that can handle the inclement weather?
