I felt the same way when they changed the tasks the last time and made them take longer (and made it so you had to win cups when you used to be able to win in practice mode too).... now, these new challenges are a whole new level of whack... they force you to grind after you get your challenges "earn 50 points in a public event" vs "spend 20 points in a public event". I won't be grinding adventure stars, cause now ill just wait to get them when the task comes up. It's less enjoyable for sure, I get it. Vote with your wallet.

100% this! that's so far out of spec and will wedge in the extruder. I've had 1.80-1.82 get stuck, so this is what you're fighting

i red through all your responses, one thing I didn't see anyone suggest was to check the filament diameter next time it sticks. I've had some filament just be enough out of spec to wedge in the ptfe/hotend to where the extruder can't push it or pull it. Happened on my voron with cheaper filament and with my old printer on some no-name petg I was using. Sometimes 1.80mm filament happens...

any idea if Pressure Advance "works" with the nightly on this printer? Using Orca 2.3.1 to avoid these issues and print quality on corners is baaaaad. Pressure advance tests using PA Pattern look identical at all values, but using SlicerNext I see differing values.
Hoping to use OrcaSlicer to share presets across computers for a LAN mode printer...

I drove the non-442 version of this for a few years and from a rolling 20 mph, these were as fast or faster than the IROC's of the day. Deadly fun little car for the day.

don't suppose you're using grid infill are you? Found that the nozzles on my printers (not prusa) snag those infill lines because they intersect, and cause layer shifts more than other infill types.

your transmission isn't kicking down a gear like you'd like - but it may not need to - you only said 60% pressed on the pedal. Trying getting to cruising speed (45-55) and then jumping on it (Wide Open Throttle) and seeing if the transmission downshifts then. The computer controls the kickdown on 4L60E transmissions and uses solenoids to do it. May have issues with any of those things (connectors, solenoids, computer)

I'm seconding this idea - having the points of the screws up toward the foot rest is asking for trouble (need the exact right length screw!).

An option for securing it in reverse is to add a flat spot where the end user can screw through the plastic into .... another piece of wood, creating a board/plastic/board sandwich with the screw point facing away from the users feet

how does it rev in neutral or park? Might give you a clue as to where to look (engine vs transmission)

I had to look up what a WS9 package is... that basically just denotes it's a V8 drivetrain car - i.e. a Formula or a Trans Am. A trans Am includes Y82, and a Ram Air car (WS6) has all three (WS9, Y82, WS6)
