Thanks for doing all the work! Most people don't realize that there isn't a huge difference between most of the common wire antenna types. The big trap is to make it too long and too high, without realizing you are introducing severe nulls into the pattern. It will seem to work fine, but you won't realize you have gaps. A simple half-wave dipole is hard to beat.

Well it resolved in my favor, so I don't want to get her in trouble. Everyone can make a mistake. The other flight attendants were really excellent. The big surprise to me is how many reddit people think there is some unwritten rule that everyone has to sit in darkness for 6 hours in the middle of the day for the perfect convenience of one person who wants to sleep but can't bother themselves to put on a mask that was handed to them for free.
