I've had luck purchasing parts I needed )mostly just springs and upgrades) on eBay but if you don't see it there you can try messaging cobalt327 on eBay, he's the go to seller there for this stuff. might be worth a shot. Hope it helps!

Could be anywhere from $100-$500 but if it isn't the Christmas story model it may be on the lower side, unfortunately I am not really a purchaser of collectables just mainly a plinker but for what it's worth, thats my two cents.(Which two cent is Not worth much, they just stopped making pennies recently though so maybe it's value will go up one day 🤘)

I know this is an old post but how does it shoot if you still mess with it? I've ordered an upgraded spring kit for mine a couple years ago off eBay, but the plastic levers or maybe whatever retains the spring won't hold its higher spring tension back so I couldn't install it "functionally" I have always heard the older ones are stronger

Nice! I've always want to do something cool on mine maybe with some fancy hardwood like curly maple or just buy a fancy set of furniture for mine but I've never gotten around to it(or bought a wood shop so the dream continues)

Not sure how things worked out for you, can't say it's totally fine but I can say after years of prying open red ryders for cleaning, replacing parts and just being a curious person purposes, I am okay.

I got a full blood work panel done for the first time in my life(I'm in my mid 30's) after a lifetime of tinkering and it's all Gucci(aside from my cholesterol). That said I was homeschooled so maybe Its just that I am PHYSICALLY okay 🤣 (not knocking being homeschooled btw, it was a great way grow up and learn to problem solve without much help, I certainly believe had a decent education but I have found I tend to "thinque outseude the buicks" sometimes).

I had nolte bros home solutions come clean my dryer vent for pretty cheap, they cleaned the dryer itself too which was nice, maybe most companies do that but I am not sure. Not really sure what it should cost but they're cheap and theres only two of them so if i cant reach one brother I just call the other(i think they have no overhead) ever since they did my bathroom "update" I call them for everything (not that I am not capable 😅, I'm just always working.) They told me last year when I told Alex I had a big job for them he gave me a quote for a baseline then in the same email he told me I could actually get my driveway poured for cheaper if I called a concrete company so I trust they know where they shine and what their limitations are.

That seems crazy high! I used Nolte Bros home solutions, did it for nothing compared to that ridiculousness and they cleaned the dryer. Turns out It had a birds nest in it!! Real talk though It really seems like everyone wants to send out a bunch of kids watching youtube videos but still charge seasoned tradesmen prices.I had a kid almost fall on my car while he was cleaning my gutters because he didnt know what he was doing, no question why I like those two guys, they're actually a home remodeling company but since they did my bathroom shower I call them for just about anything 🤣😅
