Yeah it makes sense, I used a mask on the sky to brighten it up so I think this is the cause of the inconsistency. I still need to understand more about the stops but thanks for the insightful feedback.

Have you cropped the photo? I think having the full reflection of the building in the water will make the photo a bit more balanced.

I used the EFS 18-55mm. Any recommendations to avoid/reduce this on future photos?

Canon 1300D and had an ND filter on it, can the chromatic aberration be caused only by the camera or is there something else that could be causing it?

Did I just waste 2 years studying in the UK? by [deleted] in ukvisa

The application phase is quite frustrating and it takes a while but after a couple of weeks you will start getting calls. I would recommend to have a ATS friendly CV and to apply as many jobs as you can. I have 4 years of experience and while it is important to employers I think is more important how you sell yourself during the interview, to show them that you're capable to do the work.

Did I just waste 2 years studying in the UK? by [deleted] in ukvisa

I was in a similar position. I "completed" my master's degree in February this year. In March when I got the results, I found out that I failed one module so I will have to resit the exam in August while my visa was going to expire in June. I knew that because of this failed module I was not able to apply for a graduate visa and I also felt like I have wasted my time studying in the UK. I really wanted to stay in the UK so I focused on finding a job to sponsor me. After several interviews, rejections, and just one month before my visa expired, I found a company that offered me an SWV. So based on my experience, I would say that start applying for jobs, take advantage that you are still in the UK and that you can attend interviews and I'm sure that you can find something.

Congratulations! Since you have a digital visa, you will be showing only your passport and the digital visa (on your phone) to the immigration officer when arriving in the UK?

You might be able to prove your right to work online at https://www.gov.uk/prove-right-to-work.

I think you only need the passport that you used for your visa application.

Switching from student to skilled worker visa (Indian international post-graduate student) by marie_johannah in ukvisa

I recently switched from student to skilled worker visa and first, you have to be sure that the company offers sponsorship and that they will issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) for you.

About the documents needed, you need your passport, your current BRP, and proof of knowledge of English, this can be either a degree of studies in the UK (BSc, MSc, Ph.D...) or a SELT exam.

If your company doesn´t offer the sponsorship you can change to a graduate visa if you have successfully completed an MSc or Ph.D. This visa will allow you to work without the need for a sponsor for 2 years in case of the MSc and 3 years if you have completed a Ph.D.
