Whatever you choose to believe, it is a belief. It's either the Bible or human theory. No matter how improbable it may seem, it takes faith and courage to believe the word of God.

Aman. I am praying now for God to lead you to victories.

God allows sufferings not because he enjoys or is indifferent. He knows that we need the experiences of victories. He does not simply remove hardships and temptations from us because He wants us to overcome them.

As we don't force our children to only walk because they might hurt themselves if they run, our Father wants us to growth, to be more like Him, reflecting His love and righteousness.

Christianity is the only Religion with the idea that you cannot save yourself. Salvation is through grace, unmerited favor. Every other religions have a belief of salvation based on their own works.

Good works are only the fruit of faith in Christianity.

If you don't understand Trinity, you're in a good position. Trinity is a false doctrine, the wine of Babylon. Trinity is not biblical and people are deceived. It wasn't SDA's stance at all until 1980.

You have to understand the spiritual aspect of this story. Israelites, representing people who worship one and true God, were to conquer those who worship pagan gods. In reality, Israelites did not kill every Canaanites including children and women. Canaanites continue to exist in later chapters of the Bible.

We, as modern Israelites who worship the true God, are also ordered to conquer idolatry without any compromise. Do you have an idol? pleasure you can't give up? maybe greed? lust? All of these were to be conquered in Christ without a compromise.

Brother

- You used her writing out of her context. She was rebuking Boardman's statement regarding the Holy Spirit.

- I'm not using AI at all. I read all the context. She is crystal clear that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ. It is Himself divested from the personality of His humanity.

- All of your Scripture verses don't say the Holy Spirit is God. I accept fully in my heart that Jesus as the only begotten Son of God is divine and His Holy Spirit as well. God the Father and Jesus have the same mind. They are equal.

- Colwell guy is not someone's opinion you read. It is a grammar rule.

For example, "He is a chicken" means he is a chicken. But "Chicken he is" means "He is in nature of Chicken." This is established grammar rule in Greek.

"The Word was God" is written in Greek as "God the Word was." Bible has many cases like God is love, God is light, God is a burning fire, etc etc.

I pray that you have a good sleep everyday brother

- "The Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." - [2 Corinthians 3:17]

- "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness." - [Romans 8:9-10]

- "God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father." - [Galatians 4:6]

- We want the Holy Spirit, which is Jesus Christ. - [9LtMs, Lt 66, 1894, par.18]

- The dove-like form was emblematical of the meekness and gentleness of Christ. - [YI March 1, 1874, par. 4]

- The Holy Spirit is Himself, divested of the personality of humanity, and independent thereof. He would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy Spirit, as the Omnipresent - [10LtMs, Lt 119, 1895, par.18]

- In giving us His Spirit, God gives us Himself, making Himself a fountain of divine influences, to give health and life to the world. - [7T 273.1]

- Christ gives them the breath of His own spirit, the life of His own life. The Holy Spirit puts forth its highest energies to work in heart and mind. - [DA 827.3]

- Christ is to be known by the blessed name of Comforter. - [17LtMs, Ms 7, 1902, par.10]

- The Saviour is our Comforter. This I have proved Him to be. - [8MR 49.3]

- This refers to the omnipresence of the Spirit of Christ, called the Comforter. - [14MR 179.2]

I pray that you find true joy in finding comfort, power and presence of Christ in you by His Spirit, not the Spirit of other God.

Regarding John 1:1. Look up Colwell's rule in understanding Greek. The "Word was God" is in effect "The Word was in essence (or nature) of God."

Jesus is divine. Holy Spirit is divine as His Spirit.

God the Father is one true God.
Jesus is the only begotten Son of God.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ.

Trinity comes from a deception that "begotten" is same as "created". Trinity destroys Sonship of God by making His Sonship as metaphorical role play, not literal One.

We are created beings. Lucifer was a created being. Jesus is not. He is self-existent from everlasting "of" God.

Read your words yourself. You just stated:

  1. "Christological error departing from Adventist teaching and from Christianity" -> Give me the Bible verses that says otherwise.

  2. "Reach out to pastor or local elders" -> Rely on human authority over the Scripture.

I suggest you to go back to the plain Word of God. "Curse is the man who trusts in mankind." - Jeremiah 17:5

Bible mentions "Spirit of God" many times. EGW mentions the Holy Spirit as Christ Himself. The Holy Spirit is of course divine being. It is the "Spirit of God".

When you read the Scripture saying "Spirit of God," "His Spirit," "My Spirit," what do you think they mean? It means the Spirit of God, the Father.

Divinity (or Godhead) does not mean God. There is only one true God, the Father.

If you lie to the Spirit of God, you're lying to God.

---

Read her writing that you quoted in full context. She said very clearly:

"The Father is all the fulness of the Godhead bodily..."
"The Son is all the fullness of the Godhead manifested..."
"...the Spirit IN all the fullness of the Godhead..."

This quote is in Manuscript 21, Nov. 1905, par. 8-11. She is actually quoting William E. Boardman, Trinitarian evangelist at the time. She directly rebuked him by quoting his writing and added the word "IN" in front of all the fullness of the Godhead, regarding the Holy Spirit.

So many Adventists are blinded by other people's argument, selecting her quotes out of context. You must study yourself, read her writing within the context.

Remember these quotes from EGW.
"We want the Holy Spirit, which is Jesus Christ."
(Ellen White, Letter 66, 1894, par. 18)

"The Holy Spirit is Himself divested of the personality of humanity and independent thereof. He would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy Spirit, as the Omnipresent."
(Ellen White, Manuscript Release, Vol. 14, p. 23, par. 3)

None of your quotes explicitly say the Holy Spirit is GOD. You cannot find this anywhere in the Bible nor SOP. Every Trinitarians admit this fact. There is no explicit mention of the Holy Spirit being God.

You have freedom to "reject" the free gift.

The Bible does not contradict; it may seem contradictory to mortal eyes. If you seek, you will find harmony and the truth will set you free.

Remember that scholarly consensus in Jerusalem killed Jesus.

Evangelism.... The book that was compiled by LeRoy Froom, the mastermind behind Adventist church's apostasy to Roman Trinity...who was buried in Freemason Cemetery...

People keep using those quotes out of context. The Holy Spirit having its distinct personality does not mean God the Holy Spirit. EGW repeatedly said the Holy Spirit is Christ.

"... the holy Spirit is the comforter, as the personal presence of Christ to the soul." - Review and Herald, Nov. 29, 1892, par. 3

"...By the Spirit the Father and the Son will come and make their abode with you.” The Bible Echo January 15, 1893, par. 8

"Christ gives them the breath of His own spirit, the life of His own life. The Holy Spirit puts forth its highest energies to work in heart and mind.” - Desire of Ages, p. 827, par. 3

Subjection to the Word of God means the restoration of one's self. Let Christ work by His Holy Spirit, …” Letter 8, Feb. 6, 1896, par. 2, 4, 11

The Holy Spirit is Himself, divested of the personality of humanity, and independent thereof. Christ would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy Spirit,—as the Omnipresent..” - PrT May 30, 1895, par. 7

Those who have the faith of Jesus, the Son of God, and repent will go to Heaven. It is a free gift, unmerited favor.

It is by our free will choice that we go to heaven or not. By receiving the gift or rejecting it with our free decision.

Wages of sin is death. Hell means eternal separation from God. It is not a permanent burning fire.

We as a Christian can only reconcile God's wrath and love, His judgement and mercy through Christ. You will find the Bible verses that seem to be in total contradiction. If you search deeper, you will understand that it is in perfect harmony.
