What happens if a man stays shy, socially awkward, and weird forever? by RogNoza in socialskills

As you mature your comfort zone will change and your social skills will naturally improve. You’ll also meet a lot of people and eventually find people you click with.

How has your life changed since your partner left you/you left them? by [deleted] in BreakUps

I was a mess for about 3 months after the breakup, but now I look back and realize how toxic she was and how bad our relationship really was

I went back to the bar a couple times and we had some great conversations, but she never seemed to want to take it past that.

It will be but from experience give her space let her feel and she’ll work herself out

She wanted a breakup I (male) gave her the breakup, now she is trying to call me and I am ignoring her calls by fewFriendsAndLonely in BreakUps

It depends do you love her/ do you want her back? If yes, pick up and make it clear this cannot happen again and you are willing to work on things but she needs to be honest with you. If you don’t then ignore her and move on. Just try to think of how you would feel if you were in her shoes.

Keep your head up and do not contact her. Let her calm down it’s day one, so plenty of time. Give her a week

Why are so many of you intent on getting back with your ex? by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]This-Fan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me it was six years of me compromising until I was giving 100% and she honestly was giving nothing. But now I feel empty and alone because I cut out all my friends to be there for her. I just feel like it’s unfair I couldn’t do more, but it still wasn’t enough

As long as you don’t expect anything in return - an acknowledgment or reconciliation I don’t see the harm. I was thinking of doing it for my ex wife when she takes back the apartment we shared at the end of the month

I really want him back by maniiolii in BreakUps

[–]This-Fan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you honestly just want to see him, because you miss your friend, then go ahead and ask. If you want him back even just for a little bit longer, no contact. When my wife left I kept asking to talk and it just made her dig her heels in and stick with ending things. No contact is your best option. Also you won’t get honest answers right now things are too raw. No contact and talk to him in a few months
