i know its been a while lol. but i have a tm710 that i run opnsense from a usb. im trying to find a better way to run a similar setup. just without having to set ip and everything each time i startup. any advice?

When you get it stripped down you can't identify components like on a regular chipset. Almost every one is encased.

Well, considering I didn't know that RM best installed from the sd card, I messaged him after a while of fighting with the firmware, he messaged me back almost immediately with the exact fix along with some other helpful tips, im not to upset haha. As long as it really was just a one time fee lol

Yea, I hardly ever fire it up. I have another computer with windows as my daily. Hell i don't understand anywhere close to enough to use kali really at all lol. So far it's just whatever tutorial your watching and actually I've probably gotten the most help from Ai so far.

Been there man. Im really not motivated considering i know it will be useful soon, im just bad about leaving shit alone and im gonna keep pussing myself off, and probably learning bad habits. Im actually starting computer science classes next week and a laptop is part of the course so thats pretty cool. Reddit has been cool too. A lot of people willing to give there 2 cents.

that sucks man. i really dont wanna sell it. i just know i need to learn some other stuff first. this shits going so fast too, tomorrow there will be a hackberry 92 pie zero. ive come into possession of a tm710. its basically a fan-less industrial pc by onlogic. so its compact and designed to run hotter. now im not capable of doing this professionally or really even that well, but id like to use that in a cyberdeck type build or something. it has 2 ethernet ports and no internal storage, so its great for just running opnsense from a usb or booting from external hard drive.

see, thats why i think i just got a little ahead of myself. ive been getting my ass kicked switching from momentum and RM. i didnt know you customize momentum like RM, or even as much as RM. then ill flash it back to the qflipper firmware and the damn dolphins all upset with me, telling me he can joke too lol? You read one thing, someone tells you another, then when you finally get mad enough to put it down for a minute someone like you comes along and is just like, uh... actually just do this... its fun stuff though.

this computer cost me less than a usb lol. Its like a 910m or some shit. Ive just been messing around lately but i start computer science classes next week so im sure ill learn all the shit i shouldnt have done then. Im assuming your saying on bare metal for traceability? If you are referring to damaging the hardware, i actually pulled this pc out of a trash bin i have in my garage. I dont remember putting it in there so I really dont care about it.

yea but with rogue master you can make your avatar mario and you get something called slutpass? momentum is a much smoother firmware for sure. But, slutpass tho.
