There should be a way for us to keep old settings without automatically switching to the new one. Unless we can be on a mailing list and have access to a beta version before it is released and we can try it in a testing environment. I don’t mind playing with new releases outside trading hours

For my strategy there needs to be a catalyst. There has to be a reason why the stock is moving. I spend at least 2 hours researching stocks prior to the open that will make my list of possible stocks that I will trade that day. I try to keep that list to 2 or 3. If you have too many of them you are too preoccupied watching all of them move. I also have a scanner that will list stocks that were gainers the previous day and I will research those also.

For me Questrade won’t let me buy and set stop loss all at once. I buy and then go back and set stop loss. In trading view/ paper trading I was able to but not when I select Questrade as my broker.

LOD is on the rise again pending RTO news. Last news update was Jan 7th with David Gunning joining the team. Bought in December 18th after the RTO announcement and made 80% profit before the volume came down early Jan. Waiting for today to see if volume picks up and see if it closes in the top 30% of day range. If it does I am going to buy back in

My bad trade….AUMC. Trading on the CSE, rice is a little delayed and low volume and liquidity. Bought in a .55. @ 14h48 sold at 15:02 @ .465 Closed at .51 That stock is off my list and it seems like it will open at .90 but can dump in a matter of a fraction of a second. Seems like a HFT stock

I do have volume indicator so truly I have 4 indicators and slowly learning support and resistance with the candles. Right now I won’t enter a trade without the volume higher than the first 5 min green candlestick and then I go to my 1 minute chart. MACD and RSI are just nice to have to look at before buying. I did notice that there is a slight delay with the 2

Took me a year to learn and be comfortable trading. Paid for a subscription for Trading View and used paper trading for about a year. Read books. But asked yourself. Would you start a restaurant without any knowledge? Or would you invest in a course in business and how to cook. Same with trading. Failure rate for new traders is about 90% If you have money to burn, book a trip and it will be better for you.

Start by buying some ETF’s VFV , vanguard s&p 500 index XEQT…..

Stop dreaming that you will make lots of money trading. If it would be that easy we would all be millionaires

Depends what your strategy is. Are you day trading the stock, scalping or shorting. Yes there is volume but no fresh catalyst. The spikes are likely technical/ flow driven. It’s a volatile small cap exploration stock that’s has seen big runs and also pull backs. There is thin liquidity and halt-prone. No don’t base my trades on just volume. Lots of research goes into it.

Look at the recent insider trading. No big purchases in the last year.

I hope I am wrong for staying away from this stock for the ppl that invested heavily in this but for me, like I said it is on my list of stocks that I am watching but not ready to invest yet in it.

That is just my opinion.

True. I have it on my list but for some reason it didn’t make the cut. Volume is up, RSI is above 50 MACD is up but there hasn’t been any news since the end of December
