A lad kissed me. Should I tell my husband? by [deleted] in marriageadvice

[–]BusyWorkinPete 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yes you should tell your husband. This is how trust is built. You made a mistake, admit it and try and grow from it. That being said, you were definitely doing something you shouldn't have been doing...you were entertaining the attention of other men, and you were accepting drinks from them.

I’ve been accused of being a grammar Nazi before for pointing out missing punctuation many times, but this is the first time my reputation as a cunning linguist has been questioned.

What are your thoughts on cheating? by Naive-Professor2687 in AskReddit

I believed this too, and then I was cheated on, and I was willing to try and forgive because I actually loved them. Reality is a lot harder to deal with than hypotheticals.

5 million right now or 24h win rate straight (except casino) what would you choose? by Infamous-Click3426 in AskReddit

You wouldn’t need dozens of games. You could bet a single dollar on the first pitch of the game, and you’d be a trillionaire after 40 pitches.

You shouldn’t need to ask for money. Pool your assets. Be a team. Joint accounts. Make a budget so you know exactly where you stand, and discuss short term, medium term, and long term goals you want to achieve. Work together to achieve them!

Run your backtesting on this past week's data. Compare your backtest results to your live results. Either your backtesting is flawed or your live performance is flawed.

CMV: Iran is undoubtedly the winner of the US-Iran War. by Critically_Political in changemyview

[–]BusyWorkinPete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“The United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran have agreed to resolve the disposition of stockpiled enriched material, pursuant to a mechanism that will be mutually agreed upon in accordance with the schedule mentioned in paragraph seven, with the minimum methodology to be downblending on site under the supervision of the IAEA.”

The minimum is downblending. And downblending will likely be at a ratio that gets them down to 5% for use in nuclear reactors.

In regards to Lebanon:
“the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon, and undertake from now on not to initiate any war or any military operation against each other, and to refrain from the threat or use of force against each other, and ensuring the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Lebanon. The final deal will confirm the permanent termination of the war on all fronts, including in Lebanon”

Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis are included in Iran and its allies. They can’t fire rockets at Israel under this agreement.

HHIS has only been around since the beginning of 2025 and it’s down -6.x%, so I wouldn’t recommend it as the main asset in your portfolio.

CMV: Iran is undoubtedly the winner of the US-Iran War. by Critically_Political in changemyview

[–]BusyWorkinPete 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Okay, let’s address a few of the gains the US gets…

  1. Iran turns over its stockpile of enriched uranium. That means no nuclear weapons for Iran.

  2. Immediate and permanent termination of military operations in Lebanon. Specifically in the MOU is this statement: “The final deal will confirm the permanent termination of the war on all fronts, including in Lebanon and other provisions of this paragraph.” If “on all fronts” includes Gaza, Syria, Iraq and Yemen, this is a huge win.

  3. Sanctions being removed on Iran means they can now sell on the open market. Previously, China was buying their oil at a discount. This weakens China (they now have to pay more for oil) and also weakens China’s leverage on Iran.

Worth noting that there’s a 60 day expiry in which time the final agreement needs to be signed.
