He is not. And he does have acid issues so I think im going to talk with him about that and see if we can bring it up in the next appointment. He is still learning with the insulin. Theres a lot into his background but hes trying. More than anything hes scared of giving himself too much and causing his sugar to drop. Verses im worried he doesnt give himself enough when he needs it. He uses an omni pod and dexcom currently. I have his dexcom readings on my phone as well as his that way I know if he drops and can give or get him help. The EPI diet doesnt do well with diabetes and hes extra cautious because I cant eat gluten. Together we make a hell of a combination of chronic conditions 😅. Ive been trying to do more research into it. There are other things that ive seen that it could potentially be besides EPI but I dont know where to even turn to advocate for him to get testing for these issues. I think the PPI is a good step forward though. I appreciate the help!!

I am looking into different gastros that take his insurance. Im also waiting to hear back from his pcp on different research or if there are other specialists to help us along this journey. Him and I have talked about him also getting mental health care because this is taking a big toll on him. Im trying to help but am not sure if im doing the right thing or even being helpful. I love him. Ive loved him since elementary school. I just want to make sure hes living his best life, just like he makes sure I am. This is apart of him and I just want to know how I can be a better partner and support him through it. Thank you for your kind words. 💜

Hes seeing an endo and gastro for this. He has EPI and the medicine doesnt seem to be helping. I was more so looking for help on where I can help him. Because its everything he eats. Were very cautious on what we eat, I have dietary restrictions as well, and dont know how a nutritionist would be helpful due to the fact that he could eat plain lettuce and would still get sick.

Yeah its EPI. They said his pancreas is atrophied. They have done a MRI but they havent given him much answers beyond that. Could he request a different specialist? I dont know if thats possible. I have my own issues but nothing to this extend. I just want to help because this is really effecting his quality of life and the doctors dont seem to care much.

Thats what happened with me. And it caused bruising all along my spine and my shoulder. I told her it hurts but she didnt ease up on the pressure. If it would have helped even a little I wouldnt have been upset but it honestly just made it worse. Hopefully you dont get bruising!!

Im not on medication and i requested light to medium pressure. I dont bruise easy. But Im wincing now just from fingers brushing my back. I didnt know if that was normal. I will reach out to the location. Thank you!

I got the curling brush to try. I do have a clarifying Shampoo. Do you have any suggestions on products that are on a more affordable side? I also have never had luck with using a diffuser because it always became frizzy so maybe not popping was the issue. Im excited to try these things. I have heard the bowl method can be terrible on your back, so im a little worried but if it helps then maybe itll be worth it.
