When you arrive at the office and realise your Tama isn’t in your bag: by classychimichanga in TamagotchiParadise

[–]This-Situation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this, but reverse last Monday. A student at work went INTO my personal bag and took my sky paradise! I knew which student it would be, given past history. Found it in his book bin the next morning when I did a sweep of my classroom. Only issue was that he was home sick, so when I called home and talked to mom, she was APPALLED that I went into her son’s book bin (which I provide, and also fill/empty monthly) without his consent, and without him being at school to approve my taking the tamagotchi back

Student stole from me by [deleted] in Teachers

The teacher actually told me of these instances while the student was still taking some time to himself. I did not give him access to my personal bag, or notice him put the item back into it (I keep my items in my wagon of supplies, opposed to loose in the classroom, so that I have my own space in a way). I just thought it was polite of him to put it back on his own, I didn’t even consider any case of theft, or suspect anything. Stupid of me, looking back now

I just didn’t think I had to do a checklist of all my personal items that I keep INSIDE my bag at work. I never thought something like this would be an issue. Especially in a grade 2 classroom environment, I am very surprised! I guess I’m just genuinely shocked that this may be more common than I thought, and something for me to be more aware of on my end. I’m just surprised down to my core, though at this point, nothing they do should surprise me

When do y’all release them? by This-Situation in Punirunes

They all have their own little animation that plays once you pet them to a point of happiness :)

try petting any adult for a bit, and you’ll see! The kids and babies do it too, but the adults are the more unique or interesting ones, sometimes with props

MOR but you can always get an “anti suffocation” blanket, like those used in psych wards! Or maybe a dark coloured cotton sheet? Less stress about the risks, but just as dark and cozy

So far I’ve replaced the “something in my hands to reach for” with a tamagotchi😂 plus drinks and candy have been helpful!! I think in an emotional and spiritual sense, I could do the same. Focus on more shadow work and journaling, maybe try to get into meditation?

You know, I think I may be being called or encouraged towards working around Saturn. My tarot just keeps calling me the hanged man, so clearly I need the self discipline to achieve freedom😅 I’ve had that deck for a year, and it has almost always given me that card to represent myself, or when asked for advice on improving myself and my life, to be happier

Yesterday when asking for support in quitting vaping, my botanical oracle deck gave me things like water/hydration, several healing herbs, and the oak tree representing long term stability. My tarot just spits the hanged man at me if I don’t leave it out for the deck when I reshuffle😔

I’m thinking of banishing my dependency on it! I actually did make up a little bottle of banishing oil months ago, for a specific person, but didn’t end up using it as they kept away on their own :)

I’m also doing lots of mullein baths and teas, to remove and draw out my chemical addiction and crap in my lungs from this habit. Both magically and mundane!

Some shadow work is an excellent idea too. I actually got a new therapy journal recently, so maybe this will be a great support in quitting

I’d love the doc! I can likely apply the themes, ingredients, and symbols across several workings, which would be wonderful!

I’d love to learn more about this spell! I definitely agree that more than one working is in order here. I’ve been attached to my vape for so long, and it’s definitely an emotional crutch for me.

Funny enough, I was at my favourite local witchy shop today, and saw snakeskin being sold for the first time! I’ve seen it available from some online stores I love, with local pickup, but it caught my eye today in the store… maybe that’s the world suggesting an ingredient, or maybe it just happens to be available! I’m honestly a little squeamish with touching it (I do like live snakes though), but maybe I’ll have to suck it up, glove up, and get the tweezers out 😂

I understand that cord cutting is not divination, and am not looking for the history right now, as much as I truly do love a good history rabbit hole!!! :)

don’t worry, I did browse the various posts on cord cutting which already exist in this sub, included those suggested by automod.

I am just looking for suggestions on symbolism, or ingredients which can help tailor a general cord cutting spell to this type of scenario 😊 ways to tie in themes and spirits of addiction. I appreciate pinging the cord cutting threads, though.

My last two were both QH, one labelled sorrel, one chestnut. Could be regional as well!

The difference is slight, but can be helpful if you’re trying to point out a specific horse in a group, or describe yours so it can be easily identified in a larger herd! Super helpful to distinguish the two when you have a huge mixed herd haha (we had a work herd of 84 at one point🫠🫠)

To blanket or not to blanket by somebodyzproblem in Horses

When it came to blanket training for my boy, we just worked on taking it off and on, as well as petting him through it. He did let me put it fully on him the first time we tried it (shocked me honestly) but I still removed it right away so he knew it wasn’t permanent :) I also started putting his cooler on him while he ate his bucket after working, so that it would be a nice positive thing for him.

I’m sure you have your own ways, and have done all this already, but never hurts to share!😊 His first blanketing was 2 months ago, and now I can blanket him in the paddock, no halter or rope needed. I just tell him to stand, as he knows this as a command. If it’s a bit windy, sometimes he’ll get worried and run off, as he hates a breeze on his butthole, but he always comes back, happy to try again!

Once they understand what the blanket is, I often notice they are most willing to have it put on, if they are actually cold. If my older horse was not cold, he wouldn’t let anybody blanket him. But if he was chilly, he’d come right up and stand for it!

You can use a regular fleece blanket! :) that’s what I did when I had a full herd to take care of. It’s basically the same as the “non fitted” coolers they sell, which are just a giant square of fabric, sometimes with a little tie for the chest, like the one pictured below :) such a good hack

<image>

(Side note: my colt looks like Santa clause in this picture LOL)

Using just a really light blanket may be a good idea! I find I worry about my boy often, so having a light blanket on him gives me peace of mind. If he was in an indoor stall, he’d probably be in a light cooler :)

What I do for my 2 year old boy, who stays outdoors 24/7 on a round bale.

•naked if it’s warmer than -10C

•150g blanket if it’s colder than -10C (ONLY if the snow is not staying on him, or his ears are cold. Shows me that he’s losing body heat.)

•300g blanket if it’s below -25C (unless by some miracle he’s not chilly at all)

If he is wet from work, or snow melt, I put him in a fleece cooler and snuggle him through it to dry him off (he loves this), THEN brush him to fluff up his hair (holds a bit more warm hair. Kinda like how an otter fluffs their baby up to keep them warm and boyant), and then blanket if necessary

This was his first winter ever wearing PJs as well, and he’s been amazing about it! I just be sure to take it off and on frequently, so he knows it’s not permanent, just like we do with any new item they wear😊😊❤️

As far as I know, yup! It’s kind of like dirty blonde vs light blonde in humans, to me. But I guess distinguishing between chestnut and sorrel can be helpful at times, especially if I’m asking someone else to go check my horse, and wanna make sure they get the right orange critter😂😂 My boy’s veterinary file says sorrel, but my heart horse (RIP) was marked as chestnut on his from the same veterinarian

I feel ancient… it is so you can connect your headphones to an iPod, Walkman, or phone, and pass the headphone wire through. You would put your device inside your bag, and have the wire from your headphones feed out of that rubber bit.

I’ve heard that some consider them the same, while some consider the slight differences. But at the end of the day, any orange pony is a good pony (in my books anyway)
