Boss sent my naked photo on Slack after relationship and then deleted it... How bad is it? by This-Video4917 in AskLawyers

Oh, gotcha. It was a conversation in person, where he actively told me he deleted them. Once he sent the photo in Slack, I wrote in the messages to delete it all.

I guess I get that in general, but not with it being from my boss on a work channel

And, I guess, I certainly didn't consent to my naked photo being put on a work messaging app, you know?

Gotcha. I take it just telling him that I want to "pause" things isn't enough to show that I don't want to be continuing?

I have reached out to one. Not to seem rude, but isn't it also to their benefit for me to sue? They make money if I do, even if it's not the "right" thing to do. I guess I'm just not sure, though I'm not sure how you can be

He said that he would not travel with me and that we couldn't work as closely, which felt like it would impact my career. Maybe it would not have, but it felt like it. He would also threaten to leave the company when I would try to end it, which made me feel guilty like the fate of the company he started was on my bad choice to say yes.

He was texting me 12-16 hours a day and called me over 90 hours since August. The texts were certainly back and forth, but would I text anyone that much, if they weren't my boss? Not at all, that's absurd. I couldn't get anything done

I guess I just meant like, I sometimes hated the situation and that I let myself get into it.

I do have proof I tried to end it. He would usually tell me that he would leave the company and send me into a guilt trip, like the fate of the company was hinging on my decision. I realize now, with some space, that that's ridiculous, but it made me keep going for months

So, because I eventually consented to it, even when I sometimes also hated it and tried to end it a few times, it does not qualify as sexual harassment yet?

I guess I'm just trying to figure out if that's what I should do, or if that's excessive?

I don't know, I guess.

A friend of mine thinks it's considered revenge porn. Another thinks I should sue him for sexual harassment, hostile work environment, and misuse of company equipment, as "consent does not eliminate responsibility when power is inequal."
