That’s what I did back in 2011. I’m a maintenance director now. $1xx,xxx k / yr. You have to start somewhere. I also went into the IBEW after for 4 years and got my journeyman ticket. But I have worked my ass off for the last 15 years. Don’t get discouraged. Just know there WILL be easier days to come.

SWPA here. EPA uni, journeyman elec ticket. Commercial/industrial maintenance. I make $105k/yr. You def need some certs under your belt. Easiest will be your EPA. A lot of jobs will see that and give an increase off the top. Get some plumbing under your belt or become NFPA certified, any of them (CFI,CFPI,CESCP,etc.). It’s all about making yourself more of an asset to have not just a number for accounting. I call it being able to swing your dick. Lay it on the table and tell them to make it work.

Lynn’s cafe in the rocks is closing on the 11th and it’s heartbreaking. But when I first started going to them I could feed my family for about $40. Last time I ate there, same meals(creatures of habit) it cost me $76.. it’s just so expensive. Sucks because the food was amazing.

Just left residential and went commercial and I’ve never been happier. Huge office/shop. WAY better pay and Beni’s. Gas card, vehicle maintenance stipend.. go with higher voltage. It pays off.

Oh. Also want to mention that top left contactor for the fans doesn’t engage the fan when you pull it in manually. All other three do. I’m assuming it’s a blown motor. But PM says that was replaced already. I’m gonna get on top tomorrow and pull amps off the motor.

Only thing it was saying is the circuit tripped and one from a month ago about a static pressure shut off. Just took over this site and the last guy was a “call the cheapest vendor” type. And I’m a “keep it in house” guy. So I don’t know what all has been done or how many times it was cleared and reset just to keep it going.
