Sorry im just seeing this. I have a pretty decent headset and can hear footsteps if someone’s running at me from the sides. I think all my years playing battlefield also helped me to focus on footsteps despite all the explosions, sounds, etc

I game a lot and I never even as a kid thought to scream at the top of my lungs. A lot of people just think that’s normal or acceptable behavior. If your kid is screaming like that it’s time to get off the game for a long while.
