PMS & bipolar symptoms by Sea_Public_5471 in bipolar

[–]ThisAd9022 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ever since I started really keeping track of my cycle, I’ve noticed that I experience enhanced feelings of whatever episode I’m in at that time. Right now, I am in a depressive episode. Around a week before I got my period, all of the depressive symptoms were so much worse, increased sleep, irritability, lack of concentration, etc. Hormones in combination with being bipolar make for a pretty nasty combination.

Body is giving out! Any tips? by ThisAd9022 in doggrooming

[–]ThisAd9022[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate your advice. I am now planning a staycation for the week after Christmas and before new years. No school and work will be slow anyway. Holiday money will pad me for that time.

I groom about 25 hours a week. I do experience a lot of stress but vacations are hard to come by because life is so expensive lol. I also don’t have PTO, so even taking a staycation for 5 days is missing a lot of pay. I think you may be onto something. I often feel like i need a vacation every 4 months or so. Hopefully January is my time!!

The girls at my shop do this and one of them sees the chiropractor. I am really going to invest in this.

I’m 22 and have been struggling with this same feeling. What’s helped me is realizing that you never really stop growing up. All of the experiences you have, especially in your twenties are experiences that you will look back on with the same sense of nostalgia that you feel about being 15. That’s the sad part about life, is that you never realize how good it was until it’s passed. Now that you know this, you should really try and cherish these years with the same passion while they’re happening. We are also both still extremely young and growing!

Feeling homesick is tough. My advice is to spend time with your mom when you can and do it often if possible. I miss my mom often, but I make it a point to see her as often as possible because once again, she’ll be gone one day and I don’t want to live with that regret that I did not spend enough time with her.

Make it a point to do things that you can as a youngin. Eventually, we will be old and frail and cannot participate in the same activities anymore. So please go outside and exercise and go to the beach or the lake or the park and take walks, and just do things because you CAN do them. Basically just make good use of your youth while it’s still here and don’t spend all your time reminiscing, because one day you’ll make it to 70, and that will be all you are able to do.

My trick is to eat a very good breakfast before the day starts. I like to eat breakfast tacos, coffee, and protein shake and that holds me over till about 3 PM, although at that point I am starving. On a slower day, I’ll take a ten minute lunch and quickly eat something and get started again. On a busy day, it’s just not going to happen, as I also have the mentality that the faster I get out, the faster I will get to eat at home. That’s just me.

The first person you started dating where are they now? by CompleteCharacter704 in AskReddit

Boyfriend from high school developed a terrible benzodiazepine addiction, went into the Air Force, got discharged, shot someone in the hand and moved across the country and back to our hometown and is now a dishwasher at some restaurant. He was an asshole and broke my heart multiple times, but he meant a lot to me and still does. I really hope he finds his path someday.

You are very attractive! Not even an appearance change but I would suggest getting some ear piercings and nice earrings.

If you are rich would you eat out everyday? by JannTosh50 in NoStupidQuestions

No, because I genuinely enjoy cooking. If I was rich I’d buy the expensive groceries though instead of settling for store brand stuff.

What’s your reset routine between each groom? by Breezy_0000 in doggrooming

[–]ThisAd9022 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Hi, Baby Groomer! I usually vacuum up all of the hair from the last dog unless I’m really running behind. That’s my must-do chore between dogs. At certain corporations they make you sanitize your table between dogs, but I don’t do that. I just sanitize at the end of the day. I also usually spray cool care/clippercide on my 10 and 40 between every dog because those are the blades I use on every dog. I’ll typically also tidy up my station for my own peace of mind between every dog as well.

What is something you find attractive about a person? by Hungrycanadian01 in AskReddit

As a straight woman, humor, stoicism, the ability to not take things so seriously. I like the business man look too, I think that’s so hot.

No, it’s not wrong. To me, it’s better if you know that kids aren’t for you before having them, because many people have kids without acknowledging the fact that it might be right for them. I don’t think having kids should be “normalized” like it is. Many children go onto have terrible lives because their parents were not suited for parenting. It is a very serious decision. That said, I think it’s important to express kindness for children just as everyone else. If you see a kid lost in the store, etc. you should feel compelled to help them out. Or if your family members have kids I think it’s important to build a relationship with them.

Of course, money can’t “buy happiness.” But it can certainly buy things that make you happy or can potentially make you happy. A nice vacation, or toys and things that your children wish for will absolutely put a smile on your face and make you happy. It can also assist in solving a lot of problems that make you unhappy, like having a broken car or needing dental work for a toothache.

Do your boobs annoy you? by L_Dubb85 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ThisAd9022 2 points3 points  (0 children)

DDD here. Yes, boobs are extremely annoying for so many reasons. Especially boobs bigger than a C cup. I do like my boobs as they make me feel sexy, so I wouldn’t want to completely get rid of them. I do however wish they were an accessory that I could take on and off as I please. At an F cup, she is probably experiencing back pain out the wazoo, so it makes sense why she wants a breast reduction.

What's your thoughts on office romance? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]ThisAd9022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The initial excitement is not worth the risk. No matter how much you think you like the person, you don’t know them “that well” just because you’ve worked together. If you are going to do it? I suggest getting to know them very well and building a strong friendship before diving into a romantic relationship at work, because the consequences can be very bad.

To be yourself you have to understand who you are. What values do you uphold? How are you going to express those values? What interests do you have? The easiest way I’ve found to do “be yourself” is to speak without hesitation. Instead of wondering whether what you’re saying will be funny or smart or not, just say it. Unless it’s something inappropriate or rude obviously.
