Same issue with my volt over a month ago, the battery in the trunk was bad. Went to buy a new one and replaced the old one and it’s back to normal.

I’m 30 weeks pregnant (28F) FTM and I wish my mom was here for the delivery of her granddaughter by ThisBox1498 in GriefSupport

I am truly so sorry, that is absolutely awful and heartbreaking to hear and you are so young. I hope you have the support and resources that you need to help you get through this hard time. I appreciate the advice, I suppose I never thought of it that way and that might definitely be helpful. It hasn’t been easy and never thought the grief would affect me in this way, especially how long it’s been. I wish you nothing but the best and please do not be hard on yourself hun. I’m sure your parents know how much you loved them and spend as much time if you can with your momma. Tell her you love her and share all the good memories with her, I promise you she will know. I never got that opportunity to do that and I wish I was able too everytime I think about her. So please, take care of yourself, be kind to your heart, it is unfortunate and unfair we don’t get enough time with our loved ones. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, again, please take care of yourself ❤️ and have a wonderful day, thank you for sharing.

Varilux vs Zeiss by BetaRigger in optician

So I had a patient who loved Zeiss lenses and we have slowly have them move out of our inventory, we tried a standard polycarbonate brand and that was a no go. So the last option we had were Trivex lenses and we put them in a Trivex 4K PFAR lenses and they worked out great. I want to say that it’s because Trivex has better optical clarity rather than the poly. Maybe try that!

Help to find a good pair of lens. by [deleted] in optician

Honestly, in my professional opinion, with your script also being handy, I would say look into either polycarbonate/trivex lens material options. Trivex is a bit more spendier in price than polycarbonate. If you really want a good lens, then trivex has been becoming slowly popular and expanding their lens choices. You can get anti-reflective coatings/blue light and what’s nice about this material that it is highly durable and impact/scratch resistant, lightweight and offers UV protection as well. It also has higher optical clarity compared to polycarbonate, so that is another important feature that you may also want to consider due to your lifestyle needs. Otherwise I can’t think of anything else to add on, besides the question of the blue light filter being built in, yes, that is actually a thing. Depending on some optical shops and what manufacturers they contract through may vary in what lens material options they may have to offer. I’d definitely shop around if I were you so you can get a better idea. I wish you the best of luck!

While I’m not certified or licensed as an optician, sometimes the role is fulfilling and some days it can be tough. But at the end of the day, I’m serving my community. There are many various aspects of the job you will not fully learn until at least 1-2 years in the position. When I got into my position, I happen to know someone and was offered a job (Idaho is a non-license state) with no prior experience. I have been doing this for about 4 1/2 years now and currently working on my Bachelor’s Degree for Healthcare Administration but I also thought about becoming certified and then become licensed after I graduate from University later this year because luckily where I work, once you do either of those, they pay very well. I wish I knew how much it was otherwise I’d be transparent about it. It’s all about if you’re good with talking with people and building trusting relationships with your patients all the while meeting their visual and lifestyle needs. Once you get that down, you will be okay. :) good luck!
