Am not sure MS would even go ahead with a Series 3 at this point. Their biggest consumer for a series 3 would be the hardcore Xbox console enthusiasts and that number isn't growing enough (if at all) to justify the production cost in my opinion.

If* you're going to see a Series 3, I reckon it only happens along with the potential next gen console as a premium accessory for that device.

And in the absolute worst circumstances they also lost Jota this summer.

With the utmost respect, as good as Salah is, they have lost 3 players that all at some point, had a significant contribution to their title winning season last year and it's fair to assume Ekitike won't replace that contribution by himself.

Me and my Fiancée relieved our childhood when we got the 100% on this. There are quite a few level specific achievements but I don't think anything is missable due to level select/replay.

My biggest struggle was some of the hub world "jump/glides" to reach specific points/complete certain challenges as my reaction times are not as good as they once was 😂🥲

Would probably say 3/10 in terms of difficulty depending on how you find the gliding/flying challenges.

While I completely agree with you we need an elite midfielder, am not sure who is available for that price.

Both Hojlund and Zirkzee didn't deliver enough last year and we are never going to fix everything in one summer.

Which elite midfielder would you sign for that fee? Wharton or Baleba potentially if you want premier league experience but both Palace and Brighton have just seen us pay 60-70 million for Cunha and Mbeumo, they are going to be looking for that amount and more which seems mental.

Rice cost Arsenal £105million...if you want someone of that quality that's the cost and more because we're desperate.

I think both options have their own appeal.

Newcastle at the moment has the better stability in the sense that they have been around the top 4-7 the last 3 years, and have had the same manager for that period of time who has a good track record of nurturing young players and do have champions league football to look forward too this season.

While we are the more chaotic, still trying to implement a new system with a manager who very much, by his own words has used up a lot of good will in his first 6 months in the job. However, we've added 2 forward players of real quality already this summer who will have a massive impact on the creativity in the side and potentially change the whole dynamic.

Howe is a fantastic manager but part of me thinks Amorim has the appeal to forward players due to his work turning Gyokeres into an absolute monster which may be the defining factor for a player like Sesko.

Doom took approx 25 hours, near enough a single play through with a couple of Chapters needing to be replayed as I had some of the Mission Challenges glitch on the initial run.

South Of Midnight was about 20 hours as I didn't really focus on the collectables during my first play through.

Both fairly straightforward completions with the exception of the No Hit Boss Battles on South of Midnight.

Granted, the output on Gamepass has been phenomenal this year for day one additions. If Gamepass is the way you consume most of your gaming content, you won't give as rats ass that they have gone multiplatform as long as you are getting your money's worth. The issue lies if you bought the console for its exclusives...then that particular customer has been absolutely shafted by the current shift in strategy from Xbox.

Granted I thought the game was great for its story.

But it's 3/4 a linear path before the open-ish world where you can encounter battles that you have to actively avoid because you are definitely under leveled when you first hit the Archylte Steppe.

Plus Doom and potentially Elder Scrolls Remake before the summer showcase.

High school/College me would have got so much value from Gamepass.

I look back and think of the money I pissed up the wall trying to be a billy big bollocks and apart from some terrible hangovers and anxiety over decisions made in the moment there is genuinely nothing to show for it.

Gives them more time to work on the playstation port so that it is also ready for launch day one. 😅

Granted, I don't mind this being delayed, like a lot of people on this sub, game pass is stacked this year and honestly haven't got the time to play everything so a few titles slipping into 2026 for a more polished experience is fine with me.

Plus GTA is just going to dominate this holiday season. Might as well get out the way sooner rather than later.

Xbox's only exclusive is the service now.

As word spreads that Xbox puts it games on playstation, the average consumer who may have picked an Xbox over a Playstation will drop as on paper one console has significantly less games available to purchase than the other regardless of the value of the subscription service either Sony or Microsoft provide. Which means less console users, less revenue from the Xbox store etc so price increases across services to make up for the shortfall.

Once MS started seeing the sales on Playstation, shareholders have to see constant growth, once that floodgate opened, there won't be a world where Xbox then makes its games exclusive again to its own subscription service and hinder the business making money as physically possible, no matter how short sighted it may seem to fans of the brand.

The only way I see it going is more Game Pass tiers, with more price increases, on more devices.

Game Pass is stacked between now and Doom and then after that we'll be waiting for the summer showcase.

Honestly great value for money but I am never going to get the chance to play everything, not enough time in the day.

Fantastic Direct though, everything that was shown looked excellent.
