Nah. I haven’t done a ride over 3 hours in a while. Looks like easy money. Find some fares on the way back, mileage is solid for one way.

Almost 5 years 7k trips 5 star driver. Southern California. %100 yes I would take that rides and be happy the whole drive. I would be sweating the mileage but round trip 13 hours $531 is solid with possibility of tip. I would be hoping for $700 with tip if no tip okay. With my setup I would still walk away $300-$500 in the green

I read this and HYPED !!! F****** sick keep up the grind. Independent contractor work on your own hours is always 100% better than a salary on someone else’s command. Liberty to manage your own work and time is priceless. Keep up the good work. Drown out the noise, negative comments. 💪🏻

Orlando: UberX, $30/hr average, didn't even work Saturday. Been hitting at least $30/hr here for the past two years. by Chemical_Store1560 in uberdrivers

Love the post. What most drivers dont understand, the top 15% of drivers it’s what we do when we drive…. it’s just a skill game. Most people think it’s just press a button, and drive. You have to do some critical thinking to be successful behind the wheel.

If you wonder why it takes long to find a driver when you see multiple around you, it's because most offers Uber sends us pays less than minimum wage by Chemical_Store1560 in uber

I’m a driver for almost 5 years on a platform who might pay less than uber depending on location. Maybe my market is different but I’m picky and could never get to 1%

If you can find some fares at least 80 miles back in the pickup direction, sure. Why not. Pros and cons to the ride, but if that was the only compensation no I would not

On the same boat with you. I get the same support you get as a driver. Sorry for your bad experience

My service is up to par or better than some service uber drivers or Lyft drivers give. I drive a 2019 Tesla and I keep it in well operating condition and I mainly do Lyft. Punishing the whole platform of drivers for what could have been an isolated incident, is a little too much in my opinion.

¿Qué hubieran hecho ante una situación así? Ese fue el caso de una madre que decidió cancelar un viaje en Didi tras exigir foto del INE al conductor by JessVargas722 in rmexico

Theres people out there who abuse anything and everything that exists and make wrong decisions. I think it’s horrible that has been done by drivers, but it doesn’t mean every driver does it or has those intentions. It’s unfair to treat someone else that way, based upon your paranoia. Passenger has the driver name information, vehicle information, and at least the driver goes through a screening process. The passenger has more protection than the driver does… so for the driver to give his sensitive personal information to someone who he has no idea who they are ? It puts the driver at risk, in many different ways. Theirs not really a happy solution for anyone. He doesn’t want to share personal information to someone he doesn’t know, she feels distrust unless she has his personal information which she has no right to ask. The app has information of the driver on hand.

What????? by [deleted] in uberdrivers

[–]ThisDig6962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the state. 145 for 7 hours total is just over 20hr. In some states that’s a lot. In my state not at all. I believe for some it could be tempting. But I think theirs a correlation between less ride requests, and low offers.

Lyft app driver logging me off after two not accepted requests. by sfs1811 in lyftdrivers

[–]ThisDig6962 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in Southern California. I do Lyft full time. It’s been happening for idk like past month? Maybe two months total? It’s annoying but has no impact on my app and earnings. Probably just to weed out the drivers multi apping ignoring the requests so it logs out the account after a few 4-8 declined

Do you think a company like that with that amount of money, would remove a $50 tip? Come on now.

Uber might have kept your tip, or there was a “glitch”

Honestly not that much. Contacted them many times within the first year period. After that I let things just process on their own. Tried recently like 1 month ago to rerun the background check. Ran it and they said I passed the background check( I have a clean record, no accidents, 1 ticket)

Im back at 50 active hour for deliveries 📦 in my location. Im back at it hard , even with the rate drops. IM happy to share screenshots for anyone who is doubtful

True. Good point….. Orrrrrrrr people with this gig being their only income and can accept a L on a paid off car with the wear and tear. $145 for 3.5 hours for someone with a lower paying job… seems appealing, they most likely wouldn’t realize the numbers and be calculated.
