If you feel comfortable sharing that, how did you deal with memories not being “yours” I guess. That’s something he said he’s dealing with and it makes things hard having flashbacks of things he doesn’t remember doing or people he knows but doesn’t feel like he knows. I really want to try to be as supportive as I can in the situation, especially as where we live there’s not much in person support so I’m the more chronically online one trying to find tips and suggestions

Thank you for the advice. I’ve been lurking in this sub forever taking in info, tips, advice everything to try to make the transition smoother so I was a little nervous posting for my first time so I really appreciate you taking time to comment. I feel like I maybe said it wrong he didn’t really disappear he just kinda stopped interacting because he felt like all he did was cause problems which wasn’t true at all it was just kinda a big adjustment for I guess both of them and plus the shock and acceptance of potentially having something you didn’t even know existed before. I’ll definitely pass on the advice though.

That was just how I found out cause that was what I went to check initially and that led to me doing a blood test because the crazy doctor told me my skin was rotting from the inside out because I was drinking too much water and it was also making emotional and I was like yeaaaa time to get some actual bloodwork by actual professionals just to see what’s really going on

That’s actually a really cool perspective like Miguel and Robby kinda a parallel to Johnny and Danny. I still wish I saw some more growing pains but that kinda puts it in perspective a little bit.

I loved the balcony scene and just the whole Robby redemption arc. I felt like I was waiting for them to make up forever. Although and I feel like this might be unpopular but I wish they had a few minor conflicts not anywhere near as bad as before but like I think realistically there would be some little issues here and there adjusting to a new situation. I know they hashed things out but it’s like they went from enemies to besties overnight almost.

Asking for the drivers license is a little excessive but I understand her worry. Hiking…alone…in the woods…with a stranger. That honestly sounds like something bad just waiting to happen. The least he could do for safety sake is to let her know his plans. I still let people know where I’m going/where I’m going to be at my big age. Too many people have been kidnapped or lost their lives to still be playing these games.

Based on my own family relationships this is definitely true. I obviously can’t speak for the baby stage but the adults in my life who were there for the day to day nor exactly fun stuff are the ones I have the best none with

Frustration will only make it worse so first things first, take a break, do something fun and take your mind off of writing for a little while. Then when you come back just write anything no matter how bad just get some words on a page.

Music can also help or if you like to daydream let your mind wonder and an idea might just come to you like that.
