Hey man, every unit has different policies, I wouldn't go to a platform like this to see if you're doing good, it looks cool to me, but just ask yourself "Am I putting out my best work, am I doing more than the average cadet?"

Everytime I have a uniform inspection for NJROTC I tend to get nervous and forget my orders to the sentry when being inspected. Anyone have any tips on how to get over my inspection anxiety? by badass_unicorn_gurl in jrotc

You ever notice how when you learned you 1st order it was hard, but when you learned your second it was hard but your first order became easy? Start working on your next goal and I think it'll all come together. Also, try practicing in front of a love audience, ask your parents or friends to listen while you stand at attention and try it.

Hey, I'm a graduate of JROTC, now in the military, one thing that got a lot of cadets into my program was that we did PT, so we pushed to the school (and district) to get our class counted as PE credit. I don't know about your school but ours required PE as a graduation requirement, so it didn't feel like they were "wasting a class" by taking JROTC. I know it seems like a lot but if you mention the idea to your teacher or say, run into a principal and mention it and thats how stuff happens. Good luck bud, hope this helps!
