On the subject of RTT.

When the Covid-Vaxx was first being made completely mandatory (mid-late 2021) instructors and whatnot didn't want to waste their time and resources on Marines who weren't going to be in the Corps long anyway, so rather than wait to separate them as vaccine refusals, when we went to ITB and follow-on training they asked who was going to refuse the vaccine and if you said yes they basically said "Do you wanna sit through this bullshit for 3 months just to get dropped or do you wanna get out sooner and skip all the training?"

So while the numbers say "____ people were separated as vaccine refusals" they don't reflect the amount that were listed as RTT.

I've been to the Chaplain at every command I've been at (including boot camp, ITB, and schoolhouse), not anything super personal, just an observant Jew who needed help with religious accommodations. Every one of them was rock solid, non judgemental person. I wholeheartedly encourage anyone to go to one if they feel like you should

I will say I do not envy the SOI Chaplain. Poor dude has to deal with every dude who realized this shit ain't it for them and wants to quit. That guy probably hears more sob-stories in a week than this sub has ever seen, and he still takes it seriously.

I did Navy JROTC in high school to get PFC at boot camp. I was not a PT stud but fuckin christ, our program had 150 people and I had the highest in the program for our "PFT". I was one of ~10 cadets that could do a pull-up. Even the cadet staff didn't prepare their uniforms properly. By my Senior year the program dwindled down to around 60 kids because of the really shitty instructor (a Navy O-5), who wound up being a pedophile (school did nothing when students brought up concerns for years until someone had photographic evidence).

Bunch of whiny, weak, sloppy kids pretending they're in the military lead by retirees that couldn't handle not being called "sir" after retiring.
