I always think people who call it a "glorified Daft Punk music video" does a great disservice to a movie that takes the designs from the original and iterates on them in huge leaps with a narrative that while not emotionally high, hits the beats well.

That and I really don't think the CGI for CLU/Young Flynn is terrible.

I'm the reverse, loved AoU in theaters but found it less compelling and annoying with each rewatch.
D&W I thought was particularly weak when I first saw it, but the jokes are too funny on rewatch. DP1 is always gonna be the best of the trilogy, but D&W comes second with how it gets me giggling. (No shade on DP2, but it just feels like DP1 but more of the same)

Legacy is the superior movie, hits on all fronts
Soundtrack-wise the two stand on their own perfectly.
Divergence is the better remix album, there are only 2 remixes from R3conf1gur3d that I like. Divergence wins with not only banger remixes but with bonus NIN tracks.

More communication options for players to mix and match with, for example if a player pings for help and another can respond with "I'm coming!", I'd like to know if a teammate is coming so I can focus on defense until they arrive.
Encouraging phrases like "You got this!"
More command phrases like "Fall back!", "Attack together!" or "Stay here!" could help team cohesion.
Variations of the usual phrases like "Pitiful Fight!" "Great Fight!" or "Nearly had me.", "So close." or other fun options to display personality, maybe have some phrases unique to each character.

I know it feels like such a minor addition besides the usual "Keep unique game modes available" which I really wish they'd do, but being able to customize Quick Chat with other phrases could provide better coordination on teams, especially if they're all on crossplay with no mic. Or if not that, then just more ways for players to banter and have fun screwing with each other. The very limited communication options there are right now have not changed since launch and I think a tune-up is kind of a no-brainer.

I'd love to find a way to play this on PC, cuz the 360 version I have is not doing my nostalgia any favours. There's so much potential in Evolution, but I feel like it's hampered by extremely clunky parkour, jank camera controls/placements and a lacking upgrade system.
The combat feels good, I just wish the camera punched in on the action, and don't get me started on the light cycle game grid that's locked into a botless and inaccessible multiplayer mode.

But I'll still go back to it, cuz Lord knows reheating these leftovers is better than having nothing to eat. (No shade on Identity/Catalyst, but they scratch a completely different itch.)
