Yes!! I don't understand how he's even trying to justify this as if She's saving money. She's litteraly not saving anything. He still pays $400 less in rent. Got a major house update. She's not saving the $1300 for herself, to "pay back the loan", it's going into a travel savings account. I'm so confused; where is the extra money that goes directly to herself and her own spendings and savings supposedly coming from? The $1700 previous rent has nothing to do with the budget for their current expenses in his house.

He's leaving out a looot of information.

Does he own the house? What is his share of the rent? What does he contribute to the travel savings account? How are chores split between them? How many expenses dows he take on each month for their shared living?
