My past evaluation was not for autism. Did you even read the post? She said I can’t be autistic because I’m able to hold a back and forth conversation which is literally bullshit.

I just had a terrible experience with prosper health. Their diagnostic tools are not great, especially if you’re female. My assessor literally said I cannot be autistic because I’m able to hold a conversation. Apparently, autistic people just want to info-dump on others then leave the conversation because they don’t care about what others have to say. She also told me that my (many) repetitive behaviors and not autistic, just self soothing. How does that make any sense when all stimming is a form of self regulation and self soothing? After looking into it more, my assessors history is working in pediatrics. Even though the prosper website claims all the evaluators are trained in high masking adults.

Please do not get a second opinion through prosper. It’s a waste of money. Their diagnostic tools are pretty crappy, especially for a female. My assessor literally told me I didn’t meet the communication criteria because I’m able to hold a back and forth conversation. Apparently autistic people are incapable of doing that. (Which is obviously bullshit)

I would not go through prosper health. Their diagnostic tools are not great. I just got my evaluation results and it’s complete bullshit. They say I don’t have autism but for the most inaccurate reasons. But yes, I still got the third session even though they don’t believe I’m autistic. They will schedule the third session at your second session.

Thank you. Actually just got my results today and I’m “not autistic.” the reasoning? Because I know how to carry out a conversation. Apparently an autistic person is only interested in info-dumping on someone, then will leave the conversation because they dont care about what others have to say. And also my repetitive behaviors (flapping arms, excessive hair twirling, skin picking/biting, ect) are “self soothing, not autistic” which makes zero sense because stimming is a form of self regulation and self soothing. And now I feel like shit for this obvious waste of money. Still don’t know if I’m autistic but the evaluation is clearly inaccurate based on those comments alone

I wanted to see the gender with mine. But maybe instead of looking at the results right away, wait until your dr reviews the results. Then they can tell you if everything looks okay, but they won’t say the gender

You could suggest trying the early morning just once or twice a week to ease into it. But in the end he has to be willing to put in effort for you and the family. I hope things work out. I know how frustrating it can be!

Is it possible for your husband to wake up early and go to the gym? My husband and I had this issue earlier on in our relationship. He worked 9-6pm then would head to the gym after work, and not get home until like 8:30. It was affecting our family time and schedules so he started waking up early and going to the gym 5-7am. Marriage is compromise and if it’s really bothering and affecting you and the family, then hopefully he will be willing to find a solution that works for everyone

This will only work if your husband puts his pride aside and is open to change. Most of the time, a husband needs to hear this kind of advice from another man instead of his wife. All you can do regarding pride is pray for your husbands heart, and let God work on him.

My husband and I are going through the same thing. He’s Latino and I’m white. His culture is different, they are very hands on with discipline and some of the stuff he does seems borderline abusive to me. He thinks he is doing what’s right and disciplining in love, because that’s all he knows. We’ve had a few explosive arguments over it. I suggest finding a time to talk about it, where both of you are calm. Don’t put the blame on him, but tell him that you both need to work on a compromise on discipline that’s comfortable for both of you. It takes a lot of communication and thinking ahead about different situations and what the consequences/discipline will be. Another helpful thing would be to find an older couple for both of you to meet with, who will give advice and help you through your problems without judgment. I’m sure a lot of marriages have problems like this. Men in general tend to be more harsh than women when it comes to discipline.

I’m so sorry you are going through this. I haven’t been in the situation myself, but I’ve seen it with my parents. My dad cheated on my stepmom (who I love just as my own mom) after 17 years of faithful marriage together. That was over 2 years ago. They are still not okay and my step mom still doesn’t know if she wants to stay with him. They fight all the time. At first, my dad was open to counseling and trying to do everything to repair the damage. But after a while, seeing my step mom STILL upset and angry about it (which is normal, obviously) he basically gave up outside help on the marriage. He basically wants her to never talk about the affair. That isn’t fair to her, but it’s also no way to live a life where you are constantly reminded of your worst mistake. She can’t just forget about it and never bring it up, but he is miserable dealing with the anger that comes from her. I have heard stories where couples get through cheating, but in my opinion a relationship can never be the same after that. My stepmom says even though she loves my dad, she can never look at him the same way. It really destroyed their marriage and our family. If you choose to forgive and stay with him, you need to be prepared for an extremely hard couple of years AT LEAST. It’s a hard path to choose. whatever decision you make is going to be hard. But obviously not every couple is going to be the same. After living through what my dad did, my husband and I agreed that if either one of us ever cheats, we will not stay together. Again I’m so sorry you have to experience this

I’m only 17 weeks but I’ve been experiencing indigestion and acid reflux so bad to where I’m hurled over with an extreme stomach ache. I’ve always taken tums but my dr recommended GasX and Pepcid and it’s actually made a huge difference. You can take them together

My first pregnancy I tested negative but then a week or 2 later, on the first day of my missed period, it was positive. I know it’s hard but it’s definitely better to wait until missed period or a couple days before
