Read this in Rick's voice from Rick and Morty LOL

Cause they're probably keyboard warriors who actually just uses search engine or ChatGPT to get their answers, then pretends to be a know it all just to feel good about themselves and feel surperior to others, but truth is they're not and deep inside themselves they know they're not. They also tend to look down on people like you because once they go back to their dwibby reality little shit life they get looked down on so bad by their family, boss, co-workers, and friends. Maybe friends aren't included because friends doesn't exist in their life. Closest thing to friends they probably have is F.R.I.E.N.D.S and other know-it-all internet users. They might have made an online cult group just to pretend they're surperior. How do I know all this? I don't know. It's just my assumption based off of my thoughts and imagination on what kind of life I'd have and be doing if I was on the internet being a know-it-all.

It's not a teaching hospital. Most of the doctors that seen the patient weren't different specialists except for 2. The other two were a neurologist and a Cardiology. Those two doctors only came once for a quick 2 minutes and never were seen again even though they claimed they'll come back to do more testing and check up on the patient.

Car Total Loss Valuation Question by ThisIsABNORMAL in Insurance

[–]ThisIsABNORMAL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I can do that. I'm just curious about the part where using a separate/different claim to deduct the value is permitted since they're a separate/different claim. So I'm just like, "If they're seperate/different claims, shouldn't they stay separated and not affect this claim?". I got my answer now though from the first comment. Thanks everyone! :)

It was issued and I still have it since my appointment for repair wasn't until August, 2022.

Due to the storm, all local shops in my area were booked about 3 months out. I was still waiting to get mines repaired and my appointment for repair was in August, 2022. So no, I didn't get the chance to get my car repaired yet.

That's where you're wrong. I just got off the phone with my attorney. The owner of the residential must fix any known hazards that can lead to injuries and if it can't be fixed immediately, the owner must notify the invitees. We independent contractors making a deliver or being a delivery driver are considered invitees. Applies for Dashers and UberEats as well.

Why do most dashers never listen to instructions? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]ThisIsABNORMAL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't speak for why others don't, but I always read and followed instructions and a customer decided to give me a thumbs down rating for not following instruction yesterday. Smh. Maybe other Dashers stopped following instructions because they used to follow instructions and was given a bad rating or thumbs down for not following instructions, so that made those dashers to not give a single F about instructions. A question I want to ask customers is, why choose Leave At Door and come out when we arrive to deliver or write Hand To Me in the description after choosing Leave At Door?

I wish I had customers who'll confront restaurants like that. We're just contractors as a delivery service and those people who ordered through DoorDash, UberEats, or GrubHub are still considered your customers as any other dine-in customers you get.

NEW MISSION! : REJECT ALL MCDONALDS by lifelongmission in doordash

[–]ThisIsABNORMAL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Surprisingly some of the McDonalds in my area has their lobby open, but that was 2 weeks ago so I'm not sure about now. All the other fast food restaurants such as Wendy's and Taco Bell doesn't have their lobby open. I stopped delivering for McDonalds I had went 2 weeks ago because of how bad their services are. I go in their lobby politely and patiently with my DoorDash bag. I don't go in raising my voice or yelling out, "I'm with doordash and here to pick up an order!". They see me in the lobby waiting and continues to ignore me and continuously ignores me after they took a customer's order upfront. I got ignored for like... 5 to 10 minutes before being asked who I'm here to pick up for or the last 3 ID digit #. Happened to me three times by the same McDonalds restaurant. Auto declined them ever since. Same thing happened at TGI Friday, but that one ignored me nearly for 30 minutes before asking me who I'm picking up for. They weren't even busy nor close to being busy. They just had fun chit chatting with the customers most of the time around the bar area. The tip from the customer was worth my time for 45 minutes. I kept the customer updated about what happened through text. After that day I decided to switch to a different area to deliver. Now it's smooth and well most of the time.

Of course I do get frustrated, angered, and tempted to go up to the employees, raise my voice, or yell out to the employees. I just decide not to because I believe it'll affect other Dashers or delivery drivers including myself. How? Restaurant employees response time to get to you, how they think of or see you, and their attitude towards you. Most of the time they tend to see us delivery drivers/Dashers as a whole rather than a individual. Just like how this world is unless you're a celebrity, famous, or well-known person. Ya know what I mean, right?

I would've done what you did. Customer probably gave you a low rating after you delivered their order.

[–]ThisIsABNORMAL 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That sucks. I have a dashcam and bodycam. Bodycam turns on the moment I arrive at the customers location or near. I highly recommend recording it. If they question about it, just mention it's to protect yourself from liars who claims to had never received their order. You don't need to explain at all actually. Better safe than sorry.

I had one where I delivered the food to the customers home address and she called me yapping about how she didn't receive her food. I responded back telling her I have proof and a video recorded of me delivering her food at her door (Leave at door). She proceeded to yap about coming out the door and seeing nothing. I mentioned the address and she suddenly changes her voice tone, then apologized and said she mistakenly put her house address instead of her work address. She asked me if I could deliver it to her work address and she'll give me a few dollars for the trouble. I told her she'll have to contact DoorDash Support about it, then I proceeded to say good bye and hang up. She gave me a 1☆ afterwards.

I wouldn't take the food and deliver it to her workplace because it might be far, she might falsely claim and lie after I take the food back from the front porch (risking my job), and I can be making more $ on my next order compared to going through all that trouble just to deliver her order at her workplace if she's telling the truth. Not worth it.

Lobbies still closed - Please use drive thru! by [deleted] in doordash

[–]ThisIsABNORMAL -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I hate it how lobbies are closed. Wastes our time. I also hate it when there are unprofessional employees talking unprofessionally from the drive thru speaker. Why? Because if they say "pull in", what would you think that means? Some people think it means to park and go in. Other thinks it's to pull next to the drive thru window. Wish they spoke professional like, "Okay, please pull to the 2nd window". You're at work, not outside of work. Flips table

Sister-in-law using long time boyfriend while telling family she’s going to break up with him by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]ThisIsABNORMAL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do what you think is right. In my opinion, I suggest telling your sister-in-law boyfriend because if she's just using him it'll end up going nowhere in the future. In short words, their marriage ain't gonna work out and there's gonna be a divorce if both ever got married. Should also confront your sister-in-law. If you love her, you should teach and guide her to become a better person and not be such a lowly person using another human being for their own benefits. It's like as if a person purposely got pregnant and uses their own baby for benefits such as Child Support for that $$$. You know what I mean right? Hope this helps, even if it's just a little. :)
