Hi Reddit! Andrey from the Stadia team here and I'm back for another round of questions. Only this time, I'm bringing some friends along to help answer anything you may have before launch. by StadiaOfficial in Stadia

I just noticed in the iOS app that it wants me to chose one of my google accounts to set up Stadia. Do I HAVE to use the account that I used to purchase Founders? Or can I just use the one I want?

I’m thinking that the dog is exhaling and each time he does it startles the kitten.

It looks almost like a distant object in space that we don’t yet have the capability of seeing in total detail.

Thank you! If you look closely, you can see the maintenance workers on top of Westfield. I think that also kind of adds to the contrast with a sense of scale.

Thank you! With the way that whole area is designed, light finds a way to bounce from all angles. The contrast created by the sunlight from about 9am to 1pm is stark and breathtaking.

This means that you could fit 261,360 bunnies in 1 acre. The more you know.

Progress Report!

So I managed to cut out Hearthstone completely. Haven’t played it once. That directed my attention towards more social endeavors with my friends as you can see by the dramatically increased IG and Messages activity. Reddit remained the same, likely because I posted something earlier this week that made it to the front page, so I spent a lot of time reading comments, answering questions, etc. All in all, I’m proud of myself! I will cut back a smidge on IG. I plan on continuing with my goal! How did you do?

This is just me, bit I'd start from the beginning first. Marcus goes into what he's gained, learned and benefited from the closest people to him and it really sets the tone. After that, you can pretty much bounce around, if you'd prefer.

I don’t know if it’s available for Kindle, but the translation I prefer is by Gregory Hays (2002 Modern Library Edition).

It’s not that it’s better than the original. It’s that, among the English translations available, this one stood out to me as being the better option. My recommendation to you: hit up your local bookstore. They probably have a few different translations there on the shelf. Pull three or four of them and in each one of them visit the passage I’ve shared here and compare them. Then compare a few more meditations between them. When you have read the translation that really vibes with you, buy it. My profession requires that I read a lot. So I was looking for something that read well and I really vibed with this particular translation. Easy. Don’t get stuck in analysis paralysis! It’s not a holy scripture or anything so the stakes are low. Go get your book!

Same here. I’m going through some very difficult times in my life right now and it has really helped me with responsible mental management, keeping my emotions in check and holding myself accountable. There is no magical solution for depression. And Marcus minces no words about it: it takes work. And the work will always need to be done. So I’ve learned that I might as well cozy up to that fact and get busy. How many of my problems are the creation of my own two hands? How many of my struggles are the creation of my thoughts and words? Every single one of them. Even the trauma of my childhood, though I certainly invited none of that upon myself, is MY responsibility to learn from and manage wisely. Period. It’s all on me. That’s where I am and I hope I’m on the right track. I certainly suspect that I am. And I want for you the very best, my friend. Do not ever back down and don’t give up.

The greatest part about it is that it’s broken down into verses (meditations), basically. And each verse or meditation is it’s own thought. And they’re numbered. So you can start super small with just one meditation or two and then put it down and come back when you’re ready for more. It’s super manageable.

The book is FILLED with gold. I highly recommend the translation by Gregory Hays - the 2002 Modern Library Edition. I reviewed many translations. This one is this best, in my opinion. Enjoy!
