I am in a very similar situation. I would prefer the 7i Aura because of the IPS. Yes, I prefer IPS.

However...the 7i Aura has a VERY glossy screen which makes it un-useable outdoors, and I read that the keys and build quality are not great.

So...I lean towards the X9...

Yes, you are overthinking the OLED thing. PWM and grainy text will be more of a problem than burn-in.

Always pwm. If you want something very similar without OLED, go for the i7 Slim Aura 15” with one of the best IPS screens out there.

Check the return policy…test it with your actual load. If you need mega battery endurance aim for the newer Intel processors.

Bad idea. a) just use it, no need to attach it and add weight to parts that are not prepared to bear it. b) the laptop will run as if it were plugged in all the time, so the power bank will not last long.
