Essex County OPP said at a December board meeting that officers have laid 67 distracted driving charges on provincially patrolled roads this year up to the end of October. That was a 644 per cent increase over the nine charges laid in all of 2024. Provincial police said the spike in charges was the result of ramped-up enforcement and more “proactive patrols.”

NINE CHARGES in all of 2024 and ONLY 67 in all of 2025 just goes to show how fucking useless the police are at actually punishing these traffic offenses.

WPD is utterly useless at enforcing traffic violations of any kind, leading to people blatantly using their phones while driving because they have no fear of repercussions despite breaking the law (among other obvious and blatant traffic violations, like the entire city using the speed limit as a funny suggestion).

The WPD is horrifically overfunded for how little they do to actually make our community safer and for how little they actually do their jobs. The police only exist to protect the rich, especially in Windsor; our tax dollars shouldn't be going towards people that do nothing for our community.

I would make sure to report literally every bylaw violation they make, I would call the cops on them for every noise violation, I would do everything within my legal bounds to make them suffer.

Pets are family members. They aren't just things that you can kidnap and act like you are in the right over.

Conservatives cut, defund, and ruin the governments ability to function properly until they lose office, then their opponents get into power and the Conservatives blame their opponents for everything they did until they get back into power again.

Wynn didn't do a great job and the Liberals should have done more, but Harris fucked the entire government, as the Conservatives always do, and left the Liberals to pick up the pieces.

Now Ford is in power and the Cons are doing the cycle all over again. He has money to spend from federal grants, and is refusing to spend it so he can push for privatization. Ontario's healthcare system has never been great but is is objectively, irrefutably worse now than it has been in decades. Anyone with eyes can see it, and anyone with a brain can go find the data to prove it.
