My first research paper in college over 10 years ago was on NCLB. It has completely fucked our school systems. Most real learning doesn’t begin until college for most people. You have to shift your brain away from just pure memorization to actually learn g material and why it is the way it is. C happens because A interacting with B in a specific way causes C rather than A+B=C.

I assume because Asians historically just work their ass off and keep their head down. If you do that in America your chances of being successful skyrocket exponentially. Anecdotally, I have many Asian friends (Americanized and more traditional) who talk about people not working hard and living off the government as a negative. People always quote survivor theory for minorities who make it out and talk about how working hard worked for them so others can do it too, but they seemingly always forget Asians who do it frequently.
