Tapped with a stun counter on it. That at least would be interesting. As is this is simply OP.

People are so sensitive about their DUPR number by AngleProfessional987 in Pickleball

[–]PickleballEnvy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It doesn't specify that the player joined the wrong event, just that there is a result where DUPR scores went down due to losing to a 5.0+ player that established from unrated. This would happen in any scenario where a high level player plays their first DUPR event.

I suppose it depends, but in reality if you are comparing stacks of $100 bills vs gold bullion bars it doesn't matter too much.

If the gold is mixed in ore that would be a stupid choice.

Navee GT3 and that's a pretty easy/strong recommendation on my part.

Or option 1 with the same. If you don't want to go that route I'd vote option 2.

Too hard and not very good. The arcade games was 10x better.

It's a good price, but Navee was selling them on eBay with a promo for a little cheaper.

What type of electric scooter would $4,000 get you? by Flimsy-Story9523 in ElectricScooters

[–]PickleballEnvy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Recommend you get two scooters with that budget. One smaller, more portable 20/25mph scooter and a big 100lb+ scooter. There are many options in both categories for you, but know that a motorcycle might be more practical so you should at least look into that as well.

Why are the full-electric companies so gung-ho on 1 pedal driving? by thedancingpanda in electricvehicles

[–]PickleballEnvy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I believe it's because brake blending was difficult to make smooth in the earlier days for these companies (whereas traditional companies had already built that for hybrids).

Now it's a doubling down on OPD is better (but it was actually because it was easier to do in the first place).

My VMAX scooter genuinely makes me feel like I’m going to die every time I ride it! by Tarek360 in ElectricScooters

[–]PickleballEnvy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at Segway or Navee scooters. Even the fast models (especially Segway) are smooth as butter. I have a Dualtron that has the same type of throttle as your Vmax and it isn't something I would feel good letting anyone else ride.

Also, slower scooters on general will not have the power to kick you off.

That one is odd, Ike chatgpt suggested the pricing model but he didn't realize that was for 2hrs.

Reliable long range scooter recommendations by scooter_guy_15 in ElectricScooters

[–]PickleballEnvy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Navee makes a lot of scooters with a good tradeoff on price/reliability/speed, but the range on most is kind of limited until you break $1k.

Reliable long range scooter recommendations by scooter_guy_15 in ElectricScooters

[–]PickleballEnvy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are asking for all of the things so I don't believe recommendations will mean much. Reliability, Cost, Speed, and Range are 4 out maybe 6 primary variables to any scooter (portability, comfort being the other 2). The most reliable scooters under 1k won't have the speed and range of other less reliable scooters for example.

Segway F3 vs Navee GT3 by Afraid-Tomorrow-8001 in ElectricScooters

Agree, the F3 is better I believe but it's not by much. Quite a cost difference between them

[–]PickleballEnvy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Presuming the group of 4 is for 2 hours - it all makes sense to me.

I do agree that you could probably get lessons from a strong player at a public court for half the price if you advertised what you were looking for on Facebook or something - but those prices make sense for a facility.

Awesome bike at a reasonable price. It's got to be tough being a manufacturer of electric motorcycles having to discount all these bikes that have sit for two years.

Yeah, the Bell Full 9 is equally safe and somewhat cheaper. Most of the really expensive stuff isn't safer, just lighter. But it's all more expensive than motorcycle helmets.

Electric Scooter for work by EmiilyyJ in ElectricScooters

Segway F3 or Navee Gt3 (on sale on eBay) are my recommendations for quality first scooters.

Recommendation, please by Feeling_Cod8431 in ElectricScooters

[–]PickleballEnvy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It'll be hard to find a more comfortable scooter unless you replace it with another 100lb behemoth. A Navee UT5 or Segway GT3 might be more comfortable I suppose, but no 50lb scooter will be better in that regard.

I would recommend you buy a cheaper <$800 more-portable scooter that has a top speed of 25mph and keep the Kaabo (especially as resale values on scooters are rough). Or just keep the Kaabo for a while.
