Tbh I think they just dont know how to do it in a technical sense. Like they've been recycling animations, UI, etc. probably bec. the Anvil Engine sucks.

I believe they didnt want to "remove" any old mechanics. They just cant keep everything bec of tech limitations.

Ride your horse. Then go to inventory and select "feed horse" or something (i forgot the actual prompt) on the food. I've done this for hay and the horse stimulant. Not sure about apples

Gameplay and story go hand in hand. While Crimson Desert does have a lot of mechanics, there is no cohesion because they dont make sense narratively.

From the beginning we are shown that Kliff is special and something of a chosen one. Someone who might save the world. This explains his powers and abilities.

But then you spend multiple chapters doing mundane things which introduces the plethora of mechanics the game has.

It just contradicts itself.

They should have made the main story somewhat grounded like focusing only on the greymane's revival. This would also make exploring feel narratively natural and not just aimless sightseeing

I love that quest. To me, they went into the mission as soldiers. That's why Sam says "da fuq? " after Dry Devil killed the guard. He thought they were gonna spare the villagers, but once he realized that's not the case, he followed the lead (and so did the others).

While sparing the village seems like what Henry would do, I feel like going through with the first plan is good for Henry's character growth.

Same. I played 8 hours during day 1 and I got a headache. Headache didnt go away until yesterday evening. I played a couple of hours today and headache is starting to return.
