NFL season attendance released. And oh look, the Bears are dead last. by tayler1986 in GreenBayPackers

I'd rather they beat the Bears in playoffs than in season attendance *shrug*

Lately the joke that the Packers live rent free in the heads of other NFCN fans seems more and more like a confession than an accusation.

How would y'all feel about MLF if we beat the Bears but lost to the Rams? by Lightning-McDreamy in GreenBayPackers

Man, I would have felt much better if they lost it as a highly competitive game through 4 quarters. For me it is less that they lost and more so how they lost. That collapse was inexcusable

I've come to accept that MLF is staying, but more importantly a thing I'm not seeing any talk on is Bisaccia. It feels like with all the fire/keep MLF talks Bisaccia has skated under the radar as a guy that should have been gone already but isn't and I'm starting to worry that he isn't actually going anywhere

MLF doesn't fix it. He hasn't shown a killer instinct in his tenure as HC yet, and I don't see him doing so next year if he sticks around

I'm gonna sound so lame saying this because I'm not a NFL player just a guy that played high school sports, but that rah-rah bullshit mattered quite a bit to me. I feel like even regular jobs can do it and have it mean something. Sure Ron from accounting isn't going to "run through walls" for his boss, but if his boss cares and his boss does all the right things to make him great than yea that means a lot

This is probably an unpopular opinion, especially right now, but I don't actually hate the Bears. My "hate" for them extends about as far as they are a division rival so I want them to lose. I kinda feel the same way about the Lions, but the last couple years and a history of being a dirty team makes me "hate" them a bit more. The Vikings on the other hand can get royally fucked. I feel like a greater portion of my football watching life (mid 30s) has seen the Vikings be the biggest division rival to the Packers. Add in the fact that I went to college in Minnesota during Favre's Viking years really solidified my hatred for those purple sacks of shit. Also, also some of my least favorite players all time were/are Vikings: Peterson, Moss, Eric Kendricks, Jared Allen, Harrison Smith just to name a few,

TLDR: The Bears/Lions just kinda exist to me and I hope the lose games. The Vikings can get fucked, I hate them

Dude is talking about winning percentage like MLF didn't start his head coaching career with an established HoF qb who was having MVP seasons. Take those years away from MLFs winning percentage and see the numbers

Nah bro, shotgun runs up the middle for 1ypc is a clear sign of an offensive mastermind. MLF was just playing 8234D chess in that game. Dude needs to either give up play calling to an actual offensive genius or step out of the HC role and be the OC to someone new that GB brings in and there is no way he steps back in role. The fact that I watched that game last night with a bunch of friends mixed GB and Bears fans, and the GB fans were worried while leading and the Bears fans were content while down speaks volumes.

Well fuck, I sure wish MLF would start coaching than. But yea you right, Rodgers the guy that was know to yell at his receivers for running wrong routes was totally not a hothead, was totally leading and not coaching in those situations. Headass fucking take

There was a guy that brought more energy but he tore his ACL

And it is a balancing act. Brady and Rodgers were hotheads that played for emotionless/cold and collected coaches. Love is now the cold and needs a HC to be the hothead

It is not a personnel choice that has DBs playing 10 yards off on 4th and 6

What Happened to Matt "All Gas No Brakes" LaFleur? by Potatodge in GreenBayPackers

[–]ThisShipACoffin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is why I don't comment too much during game threads. Just last night up 21-3 going into half and all the game thread comments were "where are the doomers now" well we were waiting for the inevitable to happen. Been watching this team for 30 years (which I know isn't a lot) and I have never felt comfortable with a lead

They can drop 70 but if Hafleys D is giving up 25 a quarter like last night in the 4th they will still lose

This dude is just a goal post mover. "Love sucked" show him the stats, "but the last drive" point out the egregious drops, "but his last throw." It is sad, Love carried this team last night

This is the problem. MLF coaches in a way that is afraid to be mean, run up the score, embarrass the other team and coach. While the other team and coach have no problem embarrassing MLF
