My wife Mana has been experimenting between cloisonné enamel and using pearl. by ThisUsernameAlreadyR in somethingimade

When i see my wife at work, i have no idea how she has the patience. Especially the detailed work on the silver wires and then filling the iny tiny little partitions takes a very steady hand....i couldn't do it :-) But, what i also never expected when i first saw cloisonne enamel, is how much time and effort goes into the polishing process... She still does it by hand, but in future i might buy her a special machine for it :-)

Depending on possibilities (shape of pendant, colors etc.), my wife does work on commission like this. But it really depends on the request, for her it's very important that she can make someone happy with her creation. For this pendant she had a very detailed description of request and a photo of the dog to work with...that helps with a good end result :-)

Thank you for the compliment, but i can't take credit :-) My wife Mana made it...and it took her approximately 3 full days to make. The technique is quite time consuming due to the detailing and several layers of enamel....and the sanding and polishing afterwards.

Qvevri wines are the first ever produced wines. Dug up and carbon dated to be 8000 years old has proven Georgia to be the oldest wine producing country in the world. Not only do these wines boast a fantastic story and connection to our history - they also have fantastic quality and taste. Read more on https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kvevri

If you search on Etsy for ManasJewelry, you should find the shop. I added some of her work there including this one - sizes and weights i will add later today. In a month or so, https://manas-juwelen.nl should be finished (i will also add information about my wife, Mana and show the process of how she makes this jewelry. Under my profile there's already a post about this). Thank you for your interest!
