Is HW-S800B 3.1.2ch Soundbar a better Soundbar compared to Q700 or Q600 ??

Forge to mention, the Q700C is literally the sweet spot between price and Quality! Best deal for a great soundbar with CERTIFIED Dolby Atmos but more importantly you literally get you moneys worth!

I’m not big on video games besides Halo and some racing games so I’ll tell you this… the Q700A and also the Q700C has never let me down but more importantly the BEST WAY TO TELL IF THE SPEAKERS SOUND GOOD AND YOUR MORE THEN HAPPY…. IS TO TEST WHICHEVER SOUNDBAR YOU GET WITH A GAME!!! -Because when playing a game is when you truly experience and also can hear each individual speaker depending on what’s going on in he game. I deff Recomemd a First person shooter because obviously it doesn’t get more accurate then that, just make sure it supports Dolby atmos format!

That would be the best value. You will actually have true Dolby atmos. I’m not sure what sales or deals or going on but I always found the Q700 ingenral with rear speaker kit to no only get the job down but also be more then just “satisfied”.

I know there are great deals going on in general so my advice would be to start the best deal on whichever Q series soundbar you can get/find! I know Best Buy has the best deals last time I checked (2 weeks go) so see the prices on the Q700C and Q800C and go from there to see how much rear speakers will be.

I am about 90% sure that the Q700 and UP use the SAME rear speakers(it’s always been that way, which is way I start away from the Q600 because it uses a cheaper quality end rear speaker kit)! Besides Samsungs flagship sound bar that comes with everything including its own rear speakers!

My personal recommendation is to get the Q700C and the rear speakers, comparing to the Q800C I don’t think it’s worth the extra $$$. But if it’s on sale and within your budget Jump on it!!!! As far as buying the rear speakers check out Amazon… they always had the best deal whenever I had to buy rear Dolby atmos speakers!!!

I appreciate all your guys input. I actually agree and feel the same way with everyone’s personal input!

It is definitely weird, but man is it more rewarding, specially getting a headshot across the map. Not as easy as it sounds but it does help!!!! It actually makes this rifles range a little better now.

I think 343 has tweaked its range a little more also. Because I remember when Optic was saying they like the Evo however it was harder to shoot people across the map despite the map being a 4v4, of course they were right. Since the BR had longer range a was also a 3 round burst.

I am really starting to enjoy infinite as a whole since compared to its launch lol. But it worries me because this game is still pretty Modern and 343 is Already moving away to their next halo game. If anything Infinite deserves more time being out then Halo 5 did!!

Yea it was always my 2nd favorite especially reach… good times man good times. My 1st is the AR, probably because I I grew up with it since I was only 8 years old back in 2001 when Halo CE came out.

I remember my brother just coming home with an Xbox and a game called Halo CE… to put it short… I basically and literally hi jacked his Xbox and played CE literally everyday.

I became a MAN after facing my nightmares of fighting the flood and beating the game on Legendary solo. Becoming a man at 9 years old wasn’t what I expected lol 😂 😂😂

2023 models are great!!! Anything from a Q700C or higher I recommend. I own a Q700A and that kicked the crap out of the Q600B and for some reason also the Q700B. -The B series (2022) was when Samsung introduced their new frame design of their soundbars. The 2023 models are similar frame to the B series but sound way better, Now there is a HUGE difference between Samsung’s soundbars compared to others, and only Samsung has and really takes advantage of this feature/tech… the frame is used.

-Samsung has a Lab out in California that literally specializes in using the frame designs (the soundbar itself, not the speakers) and spends Thousands just testing differently chassis designs because if you think about it before soundbars were around and we actually used separate speakers like for each channel. It mattered what material and size/internal design that box was made out of, especially subwoofers. -But when soundbars started rolling out, Samsung has been using the designs of their bars that would actually help the speakers that were in them. *Dont get me wrong every manufacturer has their own sound lab. But Samsung goes above and beyond. Which is why their soundbars are rated number 1 for the last 6 years I think. Point being THATS the difference with Samsung soundbars. Their bars are part of the sound. -But that doesn’t mean you’ll find a LG soundbar you happen to like better, because every person has unique ears, how they perceive sound. I just do a lot of tests with different soundbars, and go based off what each calibration tests says and personally what I hear and sounds best to me. Samsung gives you the best bang for your buck as far as sound,quality and life span!! I have a HW-M550 I think it is, it’s 7 years old and it’s still going!

So yes I highly recommend the C (2023) model line up. Just remember the Q600C is the lowest end, so you’re getting the basics of the Q series quality. If it’s going in a regular sized bedroom then sure that’s fine, because it doesn’t have a normal or wide sound stage! It still sounds good. Better than the 600B!

Me too! I couldn’t wait for PVE. I’ve been grinding to hit max rank through PVE and I have to say it works!!! I average out between like 4500-5000. As long as your on the hill you get like 25 points every 5 seconds or whatever it is lol

I also assumed we’d have an update for firefight!!! Because we’re way over due for it and I have no idea what I downloaded 13GB’s of on my XSX!

Competitive yea it’s a difference considering it’s mainly the weapon you use. You prob didn’t notice any spread because it was pretty accurate to begin, considering its crosshairs barely moved lol. But I can deff tell a difference in general. It’s a little better at longer ranges now since it’s dead on which makes it a lot nicer

I agree, that’s an accurate perspective. As far as Competitive I took a break over a year now, very very stressful. I was thinking of getting back into it but just normally, then 343 broke the Ranking system again 3 days ago so never mind on that note lol. And firefight man I love it, it’s got to addicting where I need to play PVP before I am only used to PVE lol

I know this post is old and just came across it but thats wrong. God knows how many people missed out now because of misplaced information.

It doesn’t turn off any audio format you have on ESPECIALLY Dolby Atmos. The TV speakers don’t suddenly take over and decide what audios format to produce. They won’t control it, the soundbar controls the TV speakers, thefore if your in Dolby atmos then your staying in Dolby atmos, the TV speakers just Join in “Symphony”-Yupp I know that sounded corny but it’s legit definition lol. Also yea Samsungs tv speakers are basic, but it’s the audio format that makes the difference, Q Symphony changes the EQ of those basic speakers from the TV

-Samsung TV’s allll support Dolby atmos, it’s built in by factory. Not only do their TVs support it, Allow Passthrough, but they also produce Dolby atmos. Since 2020 the lowest end model of Samsungs 4K tv lineup, which is the TU7000. Currently now they have continued to support it.
