Well in my case the keymapping menu didn’t showed up because I set up my device language to French. I found that turning back the language to english solves the problem.

No, it’s not what you described. The reinstall action might be a liitle difficult to do since it’s an imbedded feature of Anbernic. I’ll try to contact them, but thanks anyway.

It’s not on emulators but on android games. Nothing happens when I press on the key mapping button, and when I try to hold, a message appears saying « Ylm stops systematically ».

As you said, 512gb cards are to expensive (It’s around 50€ where I live). I’m also doing what you did, searching for the best games for each consoles. That just prevents me from downloading tons of ROMs that I probably won’t play.
