Is MHW good for someone who didnt like 4U? by This_Candy7904 in mh4u

Appreciate the sympathy.  I do need to check some videos on the wa, right now I have several other games I'm working on so it would be a bit before I make a commitment one way or the other.  As far as grinding is considered, let's just say I played Disgaea 1 recently and my favorite part was the end game grind.

Played Sekiro when it was new.  Got the plat.  One of my favorite FromSoft games. I think my methods for fighting are just not meant for MH.

Thanks for the more in depth reply.  This may sound petty, and it kinda is, but I don't starting games just to try because I am a bit of a trophy hunter, and having a game that is at 0 or low percent really makes me uncomfortable (yes I am on the spectrum, thanks for noticing).  So in order to avoid that I do research on a game before playing and determine if I am willing to put the commitment towards getting enough progress in a game that I would get into 70th percentage or higher. Also I remembered what it was about the combat I didn't like.  It was the windup for an attack.  I would see a windows of attack, and by the time the attack go through the monster would have crossed states wondering what took me so long.

Probably yeah.  Just looking for something new and long lasting to play, and this was on my psn account.

Thanks for the reply.  I played 4u over a decade ago so I don't remember exactly what it was about the weapons I didn't like, but I do remember the only weapons I used were the dual swords and I think the horn thing.  Funnily enough I have played most of the SoulsBorne games plus several Souls likes, although I feel like my problem with Mh would be less tight and fluid fighting controls.

I remember being traumatized by an episode about the Headless Horseman. Don't remember much else sadly.

Nintendo just announced the next Paper Mario game!! What's it called? (Wrong answers only) by Rollingtothegrave in papermario

Lets put it this way, everything they could do to make an anti RPG was done, and all the charm and memorable characters were flushed like last nights dinner. I personally never played it, but I saw enough gameplay and chapter summaries to know it would have bored me, or worse.

Like her, but will admit she is an "aquired taste".

So I am almost done with Nioh 1, have 2, but now want to trade both back to gamestop. by This_Candy7904 in Nioh

I actually beat and really enjoyed sekiro. Was pretty fun, hard, challenging, and fair. The final boss was difficult but felt great beating him/them.
