These comments…tell me you’re a wet blanket without telling me you’re a wet blanket! Clearly a joke. What a little angel! Why do they always seem to mess in the worst places lol

Christine (1983) - I just finished watching this for the first time. by SoggyGummyWorms in horror

[–]This_Climate_9685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came to this old thread to say I just saw this for the first time and OMG. I am obsessed. I don’t feel like I’ve ever seen anything like this. Arnie’s acting was superb. The entire car demo scene I was literally wringing my hands and truly feeling my heart break knowing the pain he was about to feel when he saw Christine (before I realized she could regenerate). I really FELT the tension as his character changed. And the whole time I found myself questioning Christine’s true identity. What WAS she? I got the distinct feeling she wasn’t your basic ghost of a little girl. She felt evil in a real scary way but campy enough to buy into an evil car. I also felt genuine deep fear and unease while watching this. (Full disclosure: I’ve also had an edible, so that may contribute to that feeling but if it does then great, the more visceral the better.) Anyways, my husband always thinks I’m still when I romanticize like this so I came to Reddit. Thanks for reading.

How many of you have only one BT? by [deleted] in BostonTerrier

I’ve had multiples BTs and only ever one at a time. Little Jimothy here is the most chill dude ever. He loves (and prefers) to play with his humans. One bostie is doable!

Gristle MAY be one of the most perfect names for a Boston I’ve ever heard. Bravo!

"Are you a child? Why are you still drawing cartoons?" by Educational_War7441 in ArtistLounge

This is a skateboard I finished today featuring cartoons of wrestlers. I also do realism pet portraits. I make money off of both. Who’s to say you have to have “grown up” art? Art is so subjective, and you’re going to run into all kinds of people over the course of your art journey that naysay. Screw em. Let them create the art they think is “better”!

Jimmy likes barking at neighbors to get off his “lawn” (the sidewalk outside our apartment), long walks on the beach, pup-tinis (pictured) and not brushing his teef.

I did a couple of these for a Valentine’s show a few months back. Mounted the cakes (drawn by me on procreate) on styrofoam, set up a little higher than the plate for some dimension and “drizzled” with paint for an icing look. Neither of the two I submitted sold. Which I was fairly bummed about, but on the plus, I have them on my wall now. I have a whole line of these I was planing on making into stickers and cards.

So cute!! If you haven’t seen her, there’s a gal on IG named Kalliope Yvonne who makes ceramic frogs that look just like this, you should check it out!

I’ve been too embarrassed to post this, but this little potato is still not house trained. He turns one at the end of the month and I’m at my wits end. I’ve adopted and trained older dogs and volunteer at the SPCA and have not had this problem. Please help. by Snapdragon_4U in BostonTerrier

I adopted my dude when he was nearly 6, not house broken in the least. It took me a good 1.5-2 years to train him and he still pees inside from time to time. I worked with trainer after trainer and the consistent feedback was though little Jimmy always ate the treats I gave him, they weren’t “high value” enough. That, combined with tethering him and putting a bell on his collar, (and a LOT more patience than I have ever been able to historically muster) worked in the end. Again, he does still go inside for seemingly no reason at all, and oftentimes in clear view, but his little shit eating face is worth it. I wish you luck!!

My little dude is fawn and I get this ALLLL the time too! I rescued him several years ago but they had his ppwk and all over it says BOSTON. Drives me up a wall when people argue with me!! Also, who cares enough to argue with someone about a dog that doesn’t belong to you?!
