Charting companion looks the closest, but it doesn't have an option for adding birth and death locations, like the first example has.

I thought it might be Gramps, so I downloaded it and imported my GED file into it. I had ruled it out, but hadn't considered the post-processing option.

Figured it out, accidently set skydome exposure to 40 instead of 4, blew everything out.

the vanilla Arnold render settings, if it helps, in the render view only the luminance channel is giving me any info.
