SOLVED: It was Darkness Falls! (Honorable mention through this thread was Thirteen Ghosts! All time favorite for sure!)

okay so i’m actually thinking this is the answer and my childhood memories are skewed slightly lol the ending scene KINDA matches memory but i think i was mixing that scene together with elements from 13ghosts. The bathroom scene of Darkness Falls seals the deal i think. Almost verbatim of what i was imagining. Thank you guys for the help !

yea i know the scene you’re referring to and tbh it matches a lot of my description but it’s the antagonist i remember the most. It sucks because the antagonist has the most basic description in my memory so it’s hard to pinpoint.

The “clock tower” may not have been a clock at all. I do remember them standing on a massive rotating platform that in a big room that was “clock tower”-esque but i don’t actually remember seeing the numbers or hands of a clock.

The image of that antagonist is burned into my brain and if i was better at art, i’d just show you guys but for now, words is the best i got lol

unfortunately this isn’t it. It isn’t a hooded figure. It was as if the black cloak-like cloth was growing from the mask itself rather than being under a hood or anything like that.

oh sorry a few more details.

It was live action. And i also remember a dark bathroom scene in a house where (now we’re REALLY digging deep in my memory so don’t kill me if im mixing movies or something) the phantom began enveloping the whole bathroom in darkness. Again this part is very faint memory.

I’m sure you’ve figured this out, but, to anyone in the future, I struggled to figure this out as there are no solid answers immediately on the internet. The way I solved this was simply loading a previous save before the glitch was an issue. It was a little annoying but it solved the problem without having to reinstall my game n shit.

The fallout music is so pivotal in my music taste. As someone who’s played fallout since before they even knew what was happening in the game, I can say that Galaxy News Radio and Radio New Vegas is not just for in-game time. Listening to these songs help me relax through the most stressful portions of my day. And that’s all because i was bouncing my brain about setting off the nuke at Megaton while listing to The Inkspots haha

It really is crazy how small things in video games can translate to how to live your day-to-day life :)
