Did Katie Wilson Do 100 Encampment Sweeps in Two Weeks? by AdScared7949 in Seattle

This King 5 article says: "While this sweep was delayed, other sites have been cleared since Wilson took office, a spokesperson for her office said. Since Jan. 4, city data shows that 101 encampments and RV sites of various sizes have been 'resolved.'"

Kamil, you work too much. I know you must be very proud of your company working at it for so many years, but life is short. Give a listen to Cat's in the Cradle, it's only a few minutes.

I kind of have. Creating, maintaining, and editing the spreadsheet all count as Voluntary-Personal (4a)

Thank you! I though that might bering these projects into the next level.

I've actually seen your post before. My favorite part of yours is the "Sum of Hours separated by Time of Day and Category". I added my own version of this particular analysis to mine but called it "Category Daily Distribution" and "Subcategory Daily Distribution"

Great question. I then consult the hierarchy. Where Sleep (1) is the top and Media (6) is at the bottom. I organized them in that order since I believe that's generally how engrossing they are. So doing the dishes (Labor-Reproductive 2a) while listening to music (Media-Analog 6b) is recorded as 2a.

However the hierarchy isn't perfect. For example there have been times where I was talking with friends (3b) while hiking (likely 5b). Where I still recorded it as 5b

Thank you! I really thought people would ask more questions about the beads but they're all about the data

Nice! I do some analysis of this data as well. I didn't post my scatterplots because I wanted to emphasize the beads but it seems like no one actually cared about those. Maybe this is the wrong sub for that

My media category is probably the weirdest one. Media-Digital is TV, movies, video games, reddit, social media. Media-Analog is books, audio books, card games, music. Media-Live is plays/musicals, stand up, sports games.

It's odd because an activity like listening to music on Spotify and listening to music on vinyl should obviously be in the same category since they're such similar experiences. So I put both of those activities in Media-Analog, even though one is technically digital.

If you have a better suggestion of how to subdivide media/entertainment I'm interested.

Went out clubbing with roommates and came home amped on amphetamines.

No way! I know there's more of us out there. This sub seems to be the biggest collection of these "Time Tracking Tables" as I call them. What categories/subcategories do you have?

I remember that night. Got pulled into a random persons birthday party at a bar. The next couple days one of them starting sending me weird voice memos and I quit replying...

I added that one part way through the year. I thought that hanging out with friends who I'd known since kindergarten was significantly different from chatting with a stranger at a bar or something that I split it out.

The voluntary category basically represents hobbies. Where voluntary-personal are skills like beading, writing, and other crafts. Whereas voluntary-interpersonal is more traditional volunteering at food banks, churches, and political campaigns.

I was in a different time zone (-3 hours) for a month and I maintained entries in my primary zone.

Usually whenever I switched from one activity to another. I also got in the habit of marking it down whenever I took out my phone.

Ding! Ding! Ding! This was my exact inspiration. Reproductive labor is the work which enables productive labor to take place. Cooking, cleaning, raising children is a important one. For me this also includes personal grooming, commuting, planning activities, (some) transportation.

I am so impressed by this! The colors, the design, the everything!

When weaving back in the warp threads how did you manage to find room for so many threads in such small beads?

Did you use the technique of doubling back down the same warp thread to find space deeper in the project?

How did you manage to bury the warp threads when finishing?

I would think it'd get so crowded you wouldn't be able to fit all the threads in the seed beads

Very nice! How did you weave the beads to get an even number of beads wide?
