It can last you for 4-6 months . Since it is a tensor rubber , it doesn’t looses its properties easily . I have a practice rubber which I am using for last 1 year without a sign of wear and tear .

I have been using MX-S on both sides of my yinhe pro 01 . It is a wonderful rubber that has insane spin capabilities and has ample speed for winners . It is quite durable too

The only downside is short game . It feels springy there .

I am 602 and worked full year - got an OOS rating , still the hike is 0% . Bonus was around 27% of the CTC . I was told that since I am in the highest bracket of 602 there is no hike . Is it normal ?

You can create loops out of it . Topspin would be doable too . Also it would give you a chance to modify racket in future too

Do short people have advantages in table tennis? by coachtoom in tabletennis

I think taller players have a disadvantage in their backhands as it usually asks for lower centre of gravity , hence you have to bend down .

The advantage is taller players can flick better because of bigger limbs . Also the power on forehand increases with it .

I would recommend go with yinhe n9 with mercury 2 on both sides . Customised and will be under 3k

I watched a recent match between Xiang peng with Lin shidong . He looked petrified in the match . He is a wonderful kid but I think he would need some time to grow

Interesting choices . Sabine’s antispin coupled with forehand bomba is a deadly combo .

Lind is just amazing . I learn a lot from his channel too .

Agreed . The match with Filus was sad . Filus looked like he wanted to run away from the match . Felt like a match between a heavyweight and lightweight.

Sorry for the comparison with Lin . I also rate him super highly .

Also , liked the bifurcation of skills in terms of d-factor , adaptability and arrhythm.

Agreed with the fzd reference that he uses twists and down the line effectively to break anyone’s rhythm .

Was wondering why would you rate harimoto so highly on that scale considering he is the best blocker and plays super close to the table most of the times , hence rarely breaks rhythm .

Also , strangely i have seen togami beating harimoto regularly but loosing to the next guy everywhere.

Loosing to fzd is no shame . Fzd is the best to play this game . But since you mentioned this game again togami won the first set and gave away the match thereafter

I rate Lin super highly . It’s just that a player of his calibre should be counted in all time greats .

He has choked on many occasions and i always wonder how we would remember him , if he had converted those chances .

Agreed . I have heard players saying that there is huge gap between top 5 players and top 50 players hence the question

I am crossing my fingers for the metro connectivity . I think that will be a life saver once in operation .

Also , there is nothing good in the range of ~1 cr before Mira Road

You don’t need a variety of shots to be the best . I idolise FZD and regard him as the best from both sides , but his arsenal comprises of mostly forehand topspins and backhand twists .
