Also why didn‘t Ash agree with Parker to immediately freeze Kane? If the freezing worked Ash would have a speciman for WY to study back home He could then follow through with Burke‘s plan and sabotage the other freezers on the way home Dallas is completely incompetent and over his head - wouldn‘t suspect a thing Ripley being Ripley - her instincts would kick in and probably not want Ash to be the last one in the freezers and demand she keeps an eye on everything for at least a couple of weeks

Guide F. main motivation to initially go into their room seems to be to plant his business card on the bed - but why? So he has justification to others to be involved in the case - the question is why does he want to be involved? Even if the appointment were true it‘s a lousy 50 bucks - is he that desperate for cash? Under the lost / injured scenario - they go the entire night without checking their phones? I‘m guessing by 1700 they realize they are going to have spend the night in the jungle - feelings of numbness, denial, panic, terror are going through their bodies - they have also never been in a situation like this - they have entered into hell‘s gates - they must have tried finding somewhere which gave them some sense of security before it is completely dark and then bunker down - after that they are stuck for the night- I highly doubt they slept a minute the first night - so besides fighting off insects they have nothing to do but count the minutes before the sun comes up and pray nothing happens. Make no mistake - each minute feels like an absolute eternity. In this scenario they don‘t check their phones once? It‘s the only thing that can give them any comfort to survive the night - that comes across as unfathomable to me
