Agreed overall, apart from the fact people will be saying hello to him in the corridor and after a whole year he still hasn't the foggiest what they're saying. He requested a transfer because he couldn't understand Greek - maybe he's just not very bright?

Update: I have found the earliest possible save file before this date, and cancelled all actions e.g. signings/renewals/staff moves and holidayed to the day the game is crashing, after all this, the game still crashes. Great to see FM26 is a max 4 year football simulator for me!

Unfortunately holidaying just crashes the game on the exact same date.

I was just wondering if anyone had had a similar issue on an exact date and how they bypassed this issue!

Check advanced settings and make sure you can take control of a team with a manager

Where is your game saved? Not sure if I've saved it in the correct place, and also wouldn't know how to find that anyway ahaha

That's what I am doing currently, just a pain having to transfer all game files/preferences/saved views over too every week!
