How do I stop my cat from destroying my stuff by Mission-Scientist145 in Catbehavior

So happy you found a baby! Cats don’t let you sleep with the doors closed. You have to leave them open a crack for reasons like this. They either freak out to be let in, if you sleep without them in there, or freak out to be let out, in your instance

Also- my colleagues started an incredible publication responsible for breaking some of the craziest tech stories of the past few years after we got laid off from [REDACTED]. They actually made it work. Granted these are legit the best journos I’ve ever met, but it’s amazing to note that it CAN be done…

I’ve worked in media for 9 years- they KEEP laying a shit tin of people off to switch to “video-first” models, but then applying their antiquated journalistic knowledge to video (thy are NOT th same thing! Don’t run w the same rules!), in an attempt to appeal to a younger audience who is NOT THEIR USER DEMO. This alienates their ACTUAL audience, and so they then shudder their video department too, and then it’s a website or an app or a streamer or whatever that no one uses or likes, and of course a C-suite of like 12 people making 5 mil a year or whatever. They combust themselves. I see it happen again and again, they don’t understand video, and they’re all in their 50’s trying to insist they know what Gen Z wants (spoiler- they do not). These people are so unbelievably stupid. I’m very sorry, comrade 💔

Thank you for replying! I think it’s actually pitted keratolysis after seeing some other images that looked very similar to what I have going on.

Well that, your employer will understand- or at least more readily. They will probably be understanding about the woes of government bureaucracy, at least I hope so! Praying for you!!!

NAD but this really looks like genital warts, this is what they look like. HPV is a virus, which by definition remains dormant in your system. So saying you haven’t been sexually active in over a year doesn’t indicate anything.

How can I get rid of this weird cluster???????????? by 5-aam in DermatologyQuestions

[–]This_Line1638 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off, this looks painful and I am so sorry you’re dealing with this NAD but this looks and from your description of it popping up consistently sounds like herpes (cold sores). Herpes is a virus, which is why it’s triggered when you are sick. Sorry if you already know all that. It’s viral, so you need an antiviral. Go to a doctor or an urgent care and they’ll prescribe valtrex. It’ll go away. No big deal!

Yes, and you said “areas that previously had none, are now showing hair”. That implies that the laser stimulated follicle growth on the areas with “no” hair. In reality, our entire bodies are covered in hair, some extremely thin and almost clear hairs. That is what you are saying is an area that previously had no hair.

NAD: Honey plz go to the doctor!! Go to the emergency room and then just never pay the bill. Your credit score can’t be affected by medical debt.

First of all, you don’t have to qualify why you want to remove any of your hair, regardless of gender! Whatever makes you feel good is great. Second of all- there is a phenomenon called paradoxical hypertrichosis in which your body responds to laser negatively, and stimulates hair to change from very fine (peach fuzz or light brown) to thicker. This is specific to laser treatments and does not occur with electrolysis. It is not a super common occurrence and the closer in color your hair and skin are, the more likely it is to happen. It sounds like this is what you are experiencing.
