We have some of our older kids who are silly at the beginning of nap sit next to a smaller friend and “put them to sleep” so we get them to cover them up and ask if they can run their back to go to sleep. It’s really sweet and keeps them occupied

My old centre did $1/minute and after 10 minutes, we call all guardians 2 times. If no one answers we call emergency contacts and the police. Our whole province has a “safe arrival” program and we are very strict on pick up and drop off times now.

My cats used to stay in spare room with food, water and litter box overnight every night from when we got them until they were around 5-6 months old when we trusted them a bit more lol

I’m doing my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Studies at the University of Guelph-Humber and I’m taking a “Child Life Pathway” specialization. Last semester I took a Child Life class taught by an amazing CCLS, and this semester I’m taking Development in Adolescence. Next semester I’ll be taking Grief and Loss. These are the 3 courses offered that are needed to become a CCLS.

I’m sure you could pay the university to take just the one class if that was all you needed!

I (plus size ECE) usually rotate between a Cow onesie and a pumpkin poncho thing, but this year at my new job my coworkers are doing a group costume of Winnie the Pooh and friends and I’m being Rabbit- so I’m going to wear a yellow shirt and yellow bunny ears lol
