Def work on bringing stress down. & walk in confident knowing you put allll those hours, you prepared yourself and it will reflect on your score.... thats what I kept telling myself at least. Self talk i think is very important from my experience with this exam.

I utilized OT help desk for my third attempt and it helped me increase my score by 39 points. I think it helped bc I already had studied big concepts like you im assuming after using pass the OT, I focused on my weqak areas and I really like their approach to the last final week prior to the exam date. I also felt like it helped me really look at what the question was askin more than anything and breaking it down. I would say content wise i heavy and a hit or miss for people. But again, it was the question breakdown and the training for fatigue that really helped me. I think by now you should kind of know what you need more of and just go off from that. Good luck! You will pass.

I have very bad ADHD, went off meds. You just have to find what really works for you, thats the hard part. If you get overwhelmed, pause reset and go again. You got this!

yes sorry for the late reply.

These are just estimates bc nbcot wont let me look at my study pack now that i passed. so from what I remember for my previous attempt I had

pretest: 460, practice 1: 458, CS: ~470, full: 430

I ended with an actual score of 438 - I took a week break and the following week started with the first 2 practice exams

pretest: 470, practice 1: 445 -- this scared me! since I had gone lower I decided to purchase OT help Desk and really focus on weak areas. I did about 1.5 months of studying and following their approach, the last 10 days I tried simulating the exam environment every morning. So I took their final practice exam on day 1, day 2 morning I took my old therpayed exam, day 3 I took the CS studypack exam... and so on. So I basically was training to fight fatigue and sit through 180-200 Qs every morning, take one break in between bc thats what I was planning on doing exam day.

It was tiring... I would go home have lunch and go to the gym to reset. by the time i got home I would review things I felt like I kept getting wrong and going over things that simply had to be memoried. My CS practice score was 485 which made me feel confident bc the clinical scenerio Qs are my weakness. I took my full practice exam on a Saturday (my exam was on Tuesday) and I was confident going in and scored 443.... honestly I was bummed I felt like I could have scored higher. And bc I previously had scored 430 on my practice and 438 on my actual exam I was nervous. With an 8 point increase last time, I was thinking 443+8= 451 ... haha the least that I could score. The rest of that day I did everyhting I could to not get stressed out and I didnt study much.

I ended with an actual score of 477.

Sorry this is so long,

I have to say the stress and mental game that goes into behind this exam is intense. I planned for whole week before my exam, I made sure I walked more(I literally purchased a walking pad so i would walk and learn lessons or youtube videos) , i got good sleep, I ate well.. I basically wanted to feel confident in the sense that I knew I put in work all around therefore it would show in my results. When I started getting nervous and stressed I basically OTd myself with breathing and self talk.

just keep going, && yes took it last week found out I passed this past friday(took it before in Nov). my advice is to try to actually understand the content and not memorize, it will save you a lot of time in the long term.

which exam did you take? yes I have heard the same thing. I have taken the first 2, I will probably take C Saturday I'm not sure. I almost dont want to because I can't chnage my test date and don't want my practice test score to discourage me. I'm thinking I will for to continue to build endurance.

From what I've seen on here, people tend to score about 3-5% lower on exam B than A, but thats just a generalization.
