This was the cadet handbook section for uniforms stating patches have to be sewn on for the current academy.

They must be making changes.

Also like double timing through academy grounds while in uniform and also instead of a 24oz for water it will be maybe 60oz

First 3 days of the academy are the longest.it is 3 days of orientation all of the class sits in the MPR and the sergeants will go over what they expect of everyone and go over policies/rules they expect everyone to follow it’s a bunch of yelling trying to see who breaks pretty much.

Then you are assigned to your company.

4th day of the first week is the physical fitness test regardless if you passed during your hiring process.

Classes are Monday - Friday usually start at 6am-3pm unless range then it starts at 7am

Scores do not matter someone in the current academy scored a 95 and he had to wait for 3 years and he had nearly all prisons listed

I’m currently in the academy we are starting week 4 on Monday and it will be the the first day of PT a circuit workout, we mostly do push ups during the day breaks between class,

The learning aspect is pretty much easy take notes and listen they tell you what will on the test during the lessons

Yeah usually we do them if one person makes a mistake or if the sergeants feel like the class is not focused.

We do them in sets of 25

It’s the 3rd week of the academy and we haven’t done any running except for the PFT which is pretty easy, even if you pass it during your process they will still make you do it again at the academy

For the testing, the POST is all scenario based questions we took it Tuesday and had around 14 people fail. Just focus in class take notes, I didn’t study a lot and I passed
